((Excellent plan.))

Rory didn't bother shifting back until they were in the house. Apparently, no one was having a very good day, but at least everyone seemed to be alive. Inside the house, there was a strange new scent. The large ebony wolf turned quickly to the newcomer, teeth flashing for a moment before he recognized the Alpha and Christopher speaking to her. Well, it was one less thing to worry about. Also, the alpha was alive and walking about, more good news. He felt a hand brush his back and tilted his head to see Riley. The blond teen was grinning and holding a pair of sweat pants and a navy blue shirt.

"Come on and join the party," Riley said with a light smirk. The black wolf took the clothes gingerly in his mouth and went into a room to change. Must be because of the stranger. After all, he's not the bashful type... He glanced at Tika. That girl was going to have to get used to this whole meet and greet thing, because the whole Pack is here. The room was pretty full, and that didn't count Cira, Selia, and Damon in the kitchen. Cooking up something good, he hoped.

Riley walked over to Kali. He thought of putting a hand on her shoulder, but thought better of it. "What happened? You realy can't see anything?"

(( Don't leave the posting up to me! I'm.. Slow. ._. ))

Poor little girl. She was so scared. Maybe he should've just taken her home. But then I'd lose my friend. Christopher hugged Tika to his chest, his strong arms wrapped around her protectively. He couldn't lose his friend, not so soon. "I found her in a thorn bush not too far from town. I brought her here so she could join the pack. We need more wolves, don't we?"
~
She's kind of small... Elijah blinked several times, then smiled weakly and bowed his head at Tika. "It's nice to meet you, Tika. I'm Elijah, your new alpha. Welcome to the pack." He said, his voice low and friendly. "Come down and eat with us. Then you can introduce yourself to the pack. I'm sure you'll get along nicely with them all." He nodded once and walked back out the room, his smile instantly fading when he turned away. "Is everyone okay?" He asked, stepping into the living room and leaning against a wall. He shouldn't be moving so much, but what good was he if he were to just sit there?

It had taken Austin exactly five minutes to get Kali an aspirin, to clean her wounds, stitch up the ones that needed them and to wrap all of them. Kali had told him that he had always had a special gift when it came to taking care of people, and she always asked him why he wanted to be a fighter when he was so good at healing. He didn't know why, other than he felt a little pathetic that he couldn't really do anything to help if the pack was in a war or something...

It took him another five minutes to run upstairs and find some clothes for the both of them, but he helped Kalika into the long, over sized t-shirt, momentarily wondering why Evans had such a huge t-shirt if he was so skinny. It looked like a dress on her... And then he pulled on a pair of slacks for him. He lifted Kalika off the toilet seat and then carried her into the living room. He glanced at Elijah once while he sat Kalika at one end of the couch. "Sit down Elijah, you need to rest for a little while." He said the words quickly, settling back into the role of the healer he had played when he was in his original pack. After he said the words his face flushed again and he bowed his head. "Of course, you don't have to..." He whispered as an after thought, but he moved out the door anyways.

Kalika groaned as she shifted on the couch, trying to get her bearings. She inhaled deeply, trying to make sense of everyone who was in the room. Other than Elijah she didn't know, and she only knew that because Austin had said his name. "Austin?" She whispered sadly, her hands reaching around to try and find him but he was gone. "Who's all here?" She whispered...
"Most of the pack." Austin answered quickly, a handful of odd looking leaves in his hand. He moved into the kitchen, ground the leaves up in his hand and turned the hot water on to heat up while he put them into two separate mugs. When the water was creating waves of steam from the sink he filled each cup.

He handed one to Kalika, and then moved to Elijah. "Drink." He whispered, steering Elijah towards the couch. "You need to sit and rest, and this should help you feel less...Empty, I guess. You lost a lot of blood and this helps the regeneration process; as well as speeds the healing." He was going to get smacked by Morii, but he pushed Elijah into the opposite end of the couch and put the mug in his hands. "Forgive me for that, but you really really need to rest..."

The pups burst to their feet when Evans appeared, and his expression instantly relaxed into an easygoing grin as they came running over, yapping excitedly. He laughed at their antics, scooping them up as he headed over to his poor clothes closet; he'd probably need to do some restocking from other rooms soon. Oh well. He managed to juggle Ranger and Georgia as he got pants on, then padded over to plop himself down on the floor by the couch, giving the kids the attention they craved as he made note of the changes. Like....a new pack member? My what strange timing the girl had. And my what a tiny little thing she was.

Image
Morii watched Austin, glad he hadn't questioned her words, or commented on her growing irritation. She shifted out of the way as he passed by with Kalika, arms crossed and expression tight as she surveyed the room. She watched Austin trying to help the alpha. And going about it all wrong, but he was trying so maybe she'd just go ahead and help. Morii strode over, slipping past Austin, and abruptly set her head on Elijah's shoulder.

In a murmur for Elijah's ears alone, she said, "The bathroom was really small, Elijah." Morii stifled her whine. Really small. Too small. She couldn't breath in there. She couldn't breath out here. Why was it so crowded in here? Why were the walls so close? It smelled like blood. So much blood. She needed to get out, to escape, to run away. But what if they came back? What if they got out? Mama? The beta bit her lip to stifle a whimper. "Sit down with me, Alpha? Please?" This whisper was even quieter than the last, barely audible even to her ears. And the 'please' was barely a breath of air. She looked calm, normal enough, but inside she trembled, so disturbed that she barely registered the scent of a stranger. It smelled like pack too though, 'infected' by their scent, so she ignored it. It was close enough that someone else would have said something if it was a threat anyway.

Tika lifted her gaze to look at Elijah uncertainly. His smile reassured her, and she instantly returned it. On reflex more than anything else. Her head bobbed in agreement to his words as her hands settled over Chris's arms. The hug warmed her right down to her toes, and she found herself smiling all the more as she tilted her head to look up at her friend. "Thank you, Chris," she murmured, and suddenly grinned. Her grin was charming, cute as a button, and laughter danced in those blue eyes.

Then she patted his arms, and started towards the door, only to stop and look up at him again. "Let's go meet your pack, okay? ...Our pack?" she corrected herself, startled to find that her wolf had abruptly and instantaneously calmed down at Elijah's welcoming words. She was pack, and that was that.

He sat on the couch beside her. When Austin said that most of the Pack was there, he nodded, but quickly remembered that she couldn't see and that was why she had asked. "The Alpha, Beta, Chris, and a new small wolf are here. There's me, and Rory here. And I think Damon, Cira, and Selia are still cooking in the kitchen." He thought it was best to be thorough. He had never been blind before, but if he ever had the misfortune of that then he would want to know as much about his surroundings as possible. He waved to Rory as his friend stepped out of the room he had changed in.

With his black hair curled back, the slight scowl was rather noticeablke on his face. Evans house was rather crowded at the moment. Although he was sure that if they split into some of the other rooms there would be plenty of space, he believed that when he walked in Elijah had said something about a meeting. He glanced in the Alpha's direction. Elijah appeared to be busy, but better safe than sorry. Rory would go through a lot of trouble to not cause trouble for the Pack, which he had already done once tonight. He glided silently through the room and sat on the couch, not taking up much space, and not sitting near anyone.

((Whoops, sorry about that Chaos! I try to avoid reading that yellow because if slightly hurts my eyes. :P))

"No, I can't see a thing. Everything's just black..." Kalika took a sip of the water and leaves mixture Austin had brought her, surprised by the sweet taste of it. She knew it wasn't tea, but she didn't know what it was exactly. She good almost feel it hum through her veins, and the pain in her shoulder numbed. "Evans and the pups aren't here?" Kalika asked, wondering why they weren't there in their own house...

{{ Try highlighting the yellow, Kalika. Also, since the pups aren't exactly being quiet, and Evans is sitting by the couch with them, I'm pretty sure Kalika could hear them, hun. I'd appreciate it if you'd at least scan my posts; you've completely ignored Morii twice now. }}

((How could I be ignoring her when she wasn't talking to any of my characters? Yes she gave Austin orders, but Elijah telling Austin he could go look for her overrode that. And since he already stitched/bandaged her up how was he ignoring her? Also, just like to point out, Kali got smashed in the head a couple times, so she's kind of a bit out of it thank you.))
