It had taken Austin exactly five minutes to get Kali an aspirin, to clean her wounds, stitch up the ones that needed them and to wrap all of them. Kali had told him that he had always had a special gift when it came to taking care of people, and she always asked him why he wanted to be a fighter when he was so good at healing. He didn't know why, other than he felt a little pathetic that he couldn't really do anything to help if the pack was in a war or something...
It took him another five minutes to run upstairs and find some clothes for the both of them, but he helped Kalika into the long, over sized t-shirt, momentarily wondering why Evans had such a huge t-shirt if he was so skinny. It looked like a dress on her... And then he pulled on a pair of slacks for him. He lifted Kalika off the toilet seat and then carried her into the living room. He glanced at Elijah once while he sat Kalika at one end of the couch. "Sit down Elijah, you need to rest for a little while." He said the words quickly, settling back into the role of the healer he had played when he was in his original pack. After he said the words his face flushed again and he bowed his head. "Of course, you don't have to..." He whispered as an after thought, but he moved out the door anyways.
Kalika groaned as she shifted on the couch, trying to get her bearings. She inhaled deeply, trying to make sense of everyone who was in the room. Other than Elijah she didn't know, and she only knew that because Austin had said his name. "Austin?" She whispered sadly, her hands reaching around to try and find him but he was gone. "Who's all here?" She whispered...
"Most of the pack." Austin answered quickly, a handful of odd looking leaves in his hand. He moved into the kitchen, ground the leaves up in his hand and turned the hot water on to heat up while he put them into two separate mugs. When the water was creating waves of steam from the sink he filled each cup.
He handed one to Kalika, and then moved to Elijah. "Drink." He whispered, steering Elijah towards the couch. "You need to sit and rest, and this should help you feel less...Empty, I guess. You lost a lot of blood and this helps the regeneration process; as well as speeds the healing." He was going to get smacked by Morii, but he pushed Elijah into the opposite end of the couch and put the mug in his hands. "Forgive me for that, but you really really need to rest..."
