Lee.
I glanced at Elijha, my nose twitching. I curled my lip up. "You've got blood on you." I stated, Captain Obvious. I grinned at him. "Seriously, you look a little creepy. Might wanna wash it off." I twitched my ears, then lowered my head to show I was joking, and submissive to my Alpha still. I then raised my head and smiled at him, tounge lolling out, as I was still in my wolf form. I didn't care if he was naked, or if Aurora was. It was a werewolf thing. I was used to it.

Kalika huffed, rolling her eyes once before she limped forwards. She shifted then, crouching down in front of him; her green eyes worried anyways. "I didn't mean worrying about a war. I mean worrying about you." She ignored the blood on her neck and her shoulder, and especially ignored the huge gash left form the teeth of the rouge that was sitting the crook of her neck. "That doesn't look anything like a "flesh wound"." She air quoted his words, and then looked to Aurora momentarily; was it right to be a tiny bit offended that the only thing Aurora cared about was helping Elijah? 'Pack should care about the entire pack, not just the Alpha...' She shook that thought off and then turned back to Elijah.

"I think we need to start have patrols at every edge of our territory, to keep them from getting this close to the pups again." She hoped that would be a better alternative to actually fighting, because even she was going to have a hard time fighting with one arm out of use for a little while.

Lee.
I stood up, finally shifting into human form. I slink quietly over to Kalika. "I second that idea," I offer up, keeping my head lowered as I came to stand next to Kalika. I made sure I was submissive to Elijha, then spoke again. "That sounds like a fairly good plan, in my opinion." I stood next to her, waiting for ELijha's reply. I smiled at the werewolves around me, most in their human form at the moment.

Morii sneezed at Riley in response to his 'nice job.' She gave herself a little shake, lifting her head and relaxing her stalking posture. She was going to report to her alpha, not fall into a war. And their report was a successful one...She flashed her packmates a grin and picked up the pace, ignoring the fact that she had to limp. With a quiet woof, she popped out of the bushes and paused to examine the state of the pack. Not so hot. Elijah was bleeding. Her ears went back and she dropped her head as she trotted closer, her tail wagging slowly at him. For a moment she stopped in front of him, focused solely on him. Alpha. Friend? Pack. They may not have been thick as thieves, but they were still pack. The wolf, secure in this irrefutable knowledge, silenced the human's worries. So many worries, all of them so trivial. Morii-the-wolf would never understand how Morii-the-human could worry about so many things. But that was alright.

With a great, gusty sigh, she laid down in front of him and gazed mournfully at him. Rogues smell bad, was her pouted complaint, for Elijah alone. Then she sneezed and tilted her head to look at her packbrothers. Namely the beta, wondering if he wanted to report or if she ought to. She didn't mind reporting, but she should definitely let the beta do if he wanted. Plus, maybe she could get him to wrap her wrist for her. After she got the mind to change to human. That was the problem with being so wolf, with living so long with fur; wolf felt so much more natural to her. And when she was hurt, she really didn't want to deny herself the comfort of that form. But being human meant she wouldn't move around so much, which meant her wounds would heal faster, which meant, well, she would stop hurting faster. Just because it was logical didn't mean she had to like it though.

Evans sighed. Damn rogues. Elijah had just started to relax, and the pups had been in such a good mood. Oh who was he kidding, he'd been in 'such a good mood' too. Now there was no more of that. Outside, he was loosely curled around the wide-eyed pups, who were just starting to get their confidence back. His head was tilted so he could watch the pack with one eye and the pups with the other. His posture was defensive, but calm enough. Inside he was an absolute mess. He wanted to go hunting. Wanted to go out and kill anything that might threaten his family--which included his pack--again. His parents were long gone, his entirely human mother through a car crash, and his entirely-too-devoted father to suicide. Half a year of therapy hadn't helped Evans get over the loss of his parents, and finding his father's body, but Pack had made him okay again. And the pups had filled a void he hadn't even been aware of until they were in it. And those bastards dared to threaten it? Evans' head turn to lick the pups, thumping his tail reassuringly when Georgia whined.

It's okay, Porridge, he crooned to the pup It's all okay. She relaxed at his reassurance, wagging her tail in response, and turned to lick her brother's ear. Ranger huffed, then wriggled as Evans licked the rebellious little rascal's face. He snickered at Ranger's indignant look, seeing the secret happiness behind the sulk.

Elijah burst into a wolf, a growl followed quickly after as the bandage stretched out to fit his neck. It was a childish thing to do, but he didn't like all these orders. 'Don't shift,' 'let me heal you,' 'you're wrong,' 'let's have patrols!' No. He wasn't taking any of it. He turned his head towards the two females, his hackles rising. Tend to the injured. He directed his words towards Kalika with forced calmness. I'm dealing with those smelly rogues myself. If they think they can come into our land and attack us then they've got another thing coming. He stalked off, anger coming off him in waves.

Walking was starting to hurt. Maybe running wouldn't be as painful. Elijah burst into full run, yelped, then slowed down again. Okay, not so much. He settled with a steady trot, occasionally speeding up, then slowing down. Why did he let himself get attacked? Why didn't he notice the rogue earlier? The one he killed actually smelled... familiar. A scent from the town. Huh. Maybe they were relocating into the trees. Not smart. Not smart at all. All pain forgotten, the dark wolf charged forward, a snarl ripping through his chest. He wasn't as fast as he was strong, but he could still move faster than the average wolf. He had alpha blood in him. He was born and raised into this position. Then forced into it at the same time he was grieving over his parents' and his pack's deaths.

Look a you, feeling pity for yourself. He laughed aloud at his own thoughts. I can do this on my own. We can go and kill all those mutts if we want! He smiled triumphantly, his tail wagging behind him as he ran. We.. We can... He whined as he increased speed. His neck was moving too much. At the tearing pain, he collapsed and skidded along the grass. His odd eyes stared straight ahead, sadness the only emotion showing in them. Who was he kidding? Three wolves came in and the pack took a huge hit. They couldn't last against the vast number of rogues in the town. The pack was weak. He was weak.

Cira sat in camp quietly, her eyes, pale blue, blind, but still so full of life and worry. She always got nervous when her sister wasn't with her. She almost shuddered, but kept herself composed from shaking. She sighed and calmed herself down feeling a bit anxious but she didn't know why. She often felt like this, but she always tried to forget about it and move on. She wanted to be strong for the pack, but she wasn't brave like the others, she knew how to fight she wanted to help but she couldn't bring herself to do so. She would defend her pack, but she could never start a fight on her own. She folded back her ears allowing her tail to curl around her fragile and slender form, she was small even for a female. She let her tail rest on her brilliant white paws. She perked her ears just in case as she listened carefully for any sighs of anything or anyone. She got up and walked out of camp. Cira had wandered off quietly, she missed her sister and had gone in search of her, but got distracted by the smell of blood, she shuddered at it, but if someone was hurt she wanted to help. She followed after the trail quietly. She stopped when she almost tripped over Elijah, "E-Elijah?" She questioned curiously.

Kalika growled, the sound surprisingly animal like given she was human at the moment, while her eyes darkened in anger. She tries to help, and this is how she's treated? Fine. Kali turned, stomping past Evans and the pups, muttering obscenities to herself before she finally let herself explode. She slammed her fist into the nearest tree, watched the small trunk shiver with the impact and her knuckles ripping open from the bark. She ignored the pain in both wounds, shifting again and bolting into the forest. If Elijah didn't want her help then she'd do it herself.

She continued to shout angrily in her head, the thoughts all incoherent but mostly curse words; every one she could think of. She went back to the wolf she'd killed, sniffing around him to get his scent and moving backwards from they way he came. 'If I can find out where they are staying, maybe I can take them out. There can't be that many rogues out here.' So she traced his scent back, mostly limping on the way there; though her leg was starting to go numb anyways so it wouldn't matter soon. She followed the scent to the outskirts of the city, to where the forest started to thin and the city took hold. And she nearly cursed when she found them.

There were only three of them here, but there were at least three other scents mixed in with them; she couldn't pin point two of the others but the third scent was from the male she had used to come here. Were they the only ones who were here? She made sure that she didn't make any noise as she crouched, watching them intently; maybe she could find any weaknesses for them. The bigger one; obviously male, with a gleaning silver coat turned towards her, his nose searching for a scent. And then his dark brown, almost black, eyes leveled on her and she cursed in her head. The scent of her blood must have caught his attention.

Aurora sighed, she shifted and took off after her alpha, she was worried about him, without an alpha what would the pack do? She couldn't keep up with him, but she followed his traik, she froze she she saw him on the ground. She didn't say anything as she walked over and licked the bleeding would lightly. She sat besde him and looked out at the woods, scanning it silently. She figured he didn't really want to talk. She sniffed the air to make sure the rogues were not close enough to harm the alpha. She looked over at Cira for a moment, studying the little blind female, wondering where her sister was, the two were usually joined at the hip. Hey Cira, and yeah, that's Elijah, he's just looking for a lost contact.' she said.

Elijah spun and snapped at Aurora's muzzle. He was on his paws the next second, glaring at her. Leave me alone. He growled lowly, baring his teeth at her. He growled a moment longer before turning and brushing past Cira. He stopped, barked softly for her to follow, then continued on his way. You didn't help the injured ones like I told you to. Give me your location now. That's an order, Kalika. His fur bristled and he turned back around to see if Cira was following. I'm training you. I know you know how to fight. But a little practice never hurt anyone. He smiled, watching her with his unfocused light blue eye. Besides, I need a break from all these wolves. I turn my head and what do you know? They're right there. He rolled his eyes to prove his point, but it didn't prove as effective when talking with a blind wolf.
