Persephone was untrained, young, and foolish. She couldn't sense the waves of anger and loss of mentality rolling off of Ani. She only felt something was wrong with the pack mother. She approached her cautiously, her posture much more wolf-like than what would be normal. "A-ani?" She asked, her voice still hoarse from screaming earlier. She walked forward and bumped her side with her head, another oddity that the full human Persephone would have snorted at. She curled up slowly next to Ani's side, fearful for her pack mother. Who would train her and watch over her? If Ani wasn't around, she would most likely be lost. She needed Ani more than she needed any of the others, even now. She had to stay strong.
Lupa shook the water from her pelt, knowing that soon enough the others would be searching for her. She headed back into the woods and easily found her mate's scent, drifting towards her. With a small whoosh of air she was gone, running back to Derek, Gabe, and Aladar. They needed to get moving, and quickly. She was fading, and fading quick. Mate! She called, We must run. If we do not quickly, then we shall lose Ani.
