Derek was frustrated at Gabe's first words, and was about to lunge at him to tear him to shreds when Aladar took over. Giving Aladar a growl of thanks for speaking to Gabe, and now awaited Gabe's second answer, which he hoped wouldn'tbe the same as the first. "Hurry up, dammit! I can hardly sense Ani anymore!" Derek snarled, wanting to get back as soon as possible. Ani was his best friend, and he wasn't about to let her die just yet. She was like a sister to him. Ani! Respond! Are you still there? Derek sent to her, but all that came back, was a low, malevolent hiss, one that signaled that she was nearly completely gone. The rest Derek couldn't hear, but he can sense that Sarah had been terrified of something.. "Yes, she is f**** dying, and Lupa is in the woods. If we go to the edge of the woods, we can shift and run back, because Ani is close to disappearing on us completely. Hell, I'm just going to plug my nose to ignore the damn humans and just get back to the woods already!" Derek growled, turning swiftly on his heel as he bolted right out of the construction site, pushing past the humans while also being careful not to use too much force. Soon enough, Derek found himself back in the small field that led into the woods. That is where he leaped past the trees and shifted, swinging his muzzle around to find Lupa.
Cyrus's head jerked up immediatly, the missing link within the pack snapping back together. Gabe had finally taken back his wolf. "Yes, he's back.." He murmured, clearly relieved. Now Ani can be possibly saved.. Ani? Where was she? Cyrus gazed around the barn, but found her nowhere near them. He then faced the direction that she was in, and just barely sensed her.Ani. His lupine growled with concern, and Cyrus frowned, knowing that his sister would soon be gone. Letting out a soft sigh, Cyrus settled back down beside Brea, giving her arm a gentle nudge.
Gone. Gone. Gone. The words repeated themselves within Ani's thoughts, like a curse tormenting the cursed. She was leaned against the willow tree, of which Connor was buried under. Her left shoulder leaned against the bark, while her burned side faced the other way. The burnt skin was beginnng to crack, and soon enough will peel off, in matter of days. The bruise around her throat was vivid, vast, and a dark purple, almost black hue. Her throat was also slightly swollen, from all the bloodvessels that were popped, and speaking, as well as breathing a bit, was made more difficult. But Ani was bearing it. Gone. Her thoughts said once again, before Ani felt the connection with the others begin to drift off, as she slowly began to loose her mentality.
