Gabe found Cyrus up against a tree he walked up a bit closer then sat down not far from him, he knew that Cyrus could smell him but he wasn't going to go any closer as he knew the male needed some space. Gabe aloud himself to shift to his human form as he still sat on the ground, he looked up at Cyrus as he lifted himself of the ground. "Let me tell you something about Brea, something that not many know. She has been used many times by males and now finds it hard to get close to them in a more than friendship kind of way." Gabe said as he leaned against a tree as he spoke, he didn't care if Cyrus never spoke but he was going to tell him about Brea. "Her lupine side is easily seduced by the pretty songs given off by males and Brea usually follows her wolf since her wolf is usually right. Well Brea ended up getting hurt many times, it was just the last time that really scared her." Gabe looked down as a hurt and angery expression came onto his face as he almost relived the memory, "I'm sure you had to protect Ani and there were mostl likely times when you couldn't. I was held back by several males as another used Brea as a plaything, she screamed for me." A lump welled up in Gabes throat as he spoke, "It wasn't until I bit one of the males was I strong enough to kill the b***ereds since I was angery and my bloodlust took effect quickly. After that she swore to never again fall for males purr, you are going to have to make an effort if you want her Cyrus." Gabe said as he looked up at him, "She's been hurt and used and I'll be dambed if I see another male do that to her." He said the last part as a bit of a threat since he would kill Cyrus regardless that he was Ani's brother, he would kill him if he hurt Brea in any way.
Brea looked up at Ani and tried to stop the tears from flowing but failed, she looked down at the table feeling scared, alone and embarrassed. She looked up at Ani for a moment then back down at the table, "Cyrus was calling to me." She said as she took in a shakey breath as she tried to calm herself down. "I didn't know what to do, since the males in all the other packs...." she couldn't finish the sentence as a lump welled up in her throat and she began to cry again, she hated feeling sorry for herself but she couldn't help it. "I want a mate like anyone else but I feel like I can't trust any male." She said as he looked up at Ani, "The only male I do trust is my brother Gabe." Brea's eyes suddenly went wide as she realized what she just said out loud she looked down at the table and bit her lip slightly, "Don't tell Gabe, he doesn't know that I'm his sister." Brea said to Ani as she looked at her with red puffy eyes that showed that she had been crying for a while.

Cyrus heard Gabe approach, and let out a soft, unsettled rumble. Just what I need.. He growled to himself inwardly as he slightly lifted his gaze so he can look over at the other lycan. At the mention of Brea, Cyrus swiveled an ear, not really wanting to hear the already horrid sounding history, but he listened anyway. Cyrus kept back growls of sheer anger as he heard about Brea's past, and immediatly understood her hesitancy and behavior.. At Gabe's threat, Cyrus forced his vocals to shift back to his humans ones, and forced sound to come off them. "I would never harm Brea, I'll promise you that.. And the same outcome would be if Ani is to be harmed. She may be tough, but there was a time where she just shattered.." He rasped, letting out a few coughs when he finished speaking.

Ani frowns at the many tears falling from her eyes, and wraps her other arm around Brea as she held the other girl closely. "Cyrus was calling to you then.. That is pretty odd of him.. He had never called to another girl before," She murmured softly, stroking Brea's hair as she tried to calm her down a bit. "Cyrus.. is the type that refrains from harming others. I've never seen him harm anyone, other than the ones that brought harm to be or threatened him.." Ani then said, finding herself speaking openly about Cyrus. "The behavior that you had witnessed him do, was a behavior he had never, ever, peformed within his life. He is currently blaming himself for making you so sad at the moment," She said, managing a soft smile. "So overall, Cyrus is just a little teddy-bear.. And the only reason he doesn't speak, is that years ago his vocals were torn apart and healed improperly.. And the reason I'm telling you all this is so you know a few things about him," Ani shrugged, then refrained her eyes from widening at that Brea said next. "Alright.. I won't. Don't worry.. If you ever need someone to talk to, I'm always there, even though I may seem like a b**** at first sight," She gave a small little wink, then once again engulfed Brea in a hug, waiting for the tears to stop completely before letting go.

Gabe smirked slightly and nodded, "I wouldn't expect anything less." he said as he looked at Cyrus then at the ground then chuckled softly, "Man I wouldn't talk if I was you, you sound a hell of alot worse then the last time I heard you." He said as he looked up at Cyrus and smirked slightly, he could see the guy had been through alot and so had Brea and if they did become mates there was alot of scares that needed to be healedbetween the two. Gabe looked back towards the house then back at Cyrus and wondered if Brea was okay for the both of them to come back, "You are going to have to prove yourself to her, even if Ani is speaking good of you right now. You are still going to have to prove yourself to her since she's going to make sure your the one." He said as he looked at the other wolf then turned and began to walk towards the house, I think we had a good talk. He thought and his wolf agreed, he looked back at Cyrus as he walked, "You coming back or you going to stay out here a little longer, since I'm sure by the time we make it up to the house Brea would of stopped crying and would most likely be asleep." He said as he knew Brea usually liked to sleep after crying for a while.
Brea smiled slightly at Ani's comment about her going to Ani when she needed to talk to someone, she thought that was vary nice of her. She stopped crying though she still had those pre/post shakey crying breath's that she was beginning to find really annoying. "Thanks." She said as she smiled slightly at Ani, she felt like idiot for crying but she felt so lost that she didn't know what to do for once. "So he's never called to a female before?" She asked feeling slightly confused since most males would call to any female that they thought would bare strong pups but then again their lupines weren't looking for a mate.

Cyrus just nodded his head once at Gabe's next words, now averting his gaze and looking up at the sky instead. Never before in his life had he.. called for another female, since he was never able to find the right one. He had a feeling that.. Brea could be possibly the right one for him. Cyrus looked over at Gabe, and let out a soft grunt to show that he would stay here a while more, just for some contemplating. So Brea was crying.. Because of something that Cyrus himself did.. He let out a low rumble, leaning his head back against the birch tree, his eyes closing.

Ani smiled down at Brea and pushed some of the hair from her face. "Anytime, hun," She said, looking over out the window since she sensed that Cyrus was feeling a bit down and worried.. "No. He has never called to a female before, since other females only wanted to use him for a breeding toy. Cyrus.. wants a female who he thinks would actually.. care for him and not just use him to create strong young. He doesn't care about the dominancy or the strength of a female, just.. her temperament basically," Ani explained, turning her gaze back to Brea.

"Nice to meet ya," Alex said, sticking his hand out in the formal greeting. "How do you plan on keeping her in line?" He whispered quietly while Char's back was turned. He knew for a fact how fiery her temper could be, and he knew that she was going to be a handful. Something felt different in him suddenly, but he didn't know what. Was he getting sick or something? Oh well, he thought and turned his attention back to Derek. He was a real dominant male? Who would have thought that Char would be able to group together a pack...

Gabe walked back to the house slowly wondering if Cyrus would come but he wasn't sure if he would or not, he looked at the ground not sure if he wanted to see Brea crying since it always hurt a part of him that he often tried to turn into ice. He looked up at the house as it came into view and gave a heavy sigh, Is she alright Ani? Gabe sent to her as he made his way closer to the house, he hoped that she was since he knew that Cyrus wouldn't hurt Brea on purpose and by the sounds of things he wasn't one to call to females just for the fun of it. He sat down in one the chairs that were out side as he waited for Ani's answer.
Brea gave a crooked smile as she looked from the table to Ani, "I guess we were both used for breeding then." She said as she looked down at the table again and drew a small picture on the palm of her hand, "I'm just greatful that it's hard for our kind to have pups." She said and she gave another crooked smile, she wondered why Cyrus would call to her since she wasn't anything special. She was just a plain female with nothing fancy to her, she wan't even that pretty in her human or wolf form. Though she was often stuck out like a sore thumb since she had white fur while others had more of a brown, gray, black, or tan coloured fur but nope she got stuck with white. She looked at Ani and shook her head lightly, "I'm nothing special." she said as she looked ar her then back down at the table.

Derek looked down at the boys hand, obviously unsure what this gesture was. Probably a human sign of greeting? He wasn't so sure. Extending his hand slowly, Derek shook Alex's hand slightly, then looked over at Char when Alex whispered his question in a hushed tone. "Ani was a piece of work back in my former pack, and Char cannot possibly be worse than Ani, so I think I can deal with her, no matter how much of a pain she will be," He chuckled, his azure eyes dancing with amusement as he back down at Alex. "So you fine then? Ani can pack a punch.. And I'm surprised that you survived it," Derek said, arching a brow as he looked at Alex with a curious gaze.

Cyrus, the past is the past. Forget it and move on, don't let all those horrid moments weigh you down. The lupine murmured, but Cyrus kept his head on his paws, letting out a long breath from his large, charcoal-hued nostrils. I can't.. I just can't, okay? How can I forget the abuse that Ani went through? How can I forget the day I nearly lost my voice? How can I forget the freakin' day I've seen Ani get r**** by that damned male lycan!? Cyrus snarled, feeling his anger slowly begin to escalate. And how can I forget how the females were after me? When I declined them, they just.. shattered somehow and then just became depressed for days.. He then murmured within his thoughts, and his wolf grew silent, understanding what Cyrus was going through. After a few more moments of torment, Cyrus heard Ani calling him back, and swiveled an ear. Cyrus pushed himself onto his limbs, and shook out his fur before slowly turning on his heel, and sauntering on back towards the house without yet another thought or word.

Ani remained silent for a while as she averted her gaze, her face growing a bit.. sad. She was thinking of the day that she had been greatly harmed.. The day that Cyrus had snapped and fought with that male lycan.. And nearly lost his vocals.. "Yeah.. Males were always after me for my strength. I was always stronger than the average female, and my red hair and green eyes always got them on," She murmured, pushing a few strands of hair from her face. Ani then hears Gabe, and lets out a soft sigh before replying. Yes, she's fine.. How is Cyrus? Is he okay? She asked in a concerned tone, knowing how down her brother can be. "Brea.. Cyrus looks for whats inside another. He doesn't care if someone has a third limb or whatever. The appearance doesn't matter to him. Its the inside that does," Ani says, lifting her gaze up so she can look at Brea with a grin on her face. "I'll start calling Cyrus back.. I don't want him hanging in the woods all day.." She stood up, and walked over to the window, opening it as she leaned out. "CHEEKO! Get back to this house, IMMEDIATLY!" Ani shouted on the top of her lungs, in her usual deep tone, then closed the window once again and sat down at the table. "Cheeko is his little adorable nickname, by the way," She added, smirking as she knew that soon enough everyone will be calling Cyrus by his nickname instead of his actual name.

He's okay though I could see that he's fighting an inner battle. He said to Ani as he sat in one of the chairs outside thinking on what to do next, he that the others would come back with a new wolf that would be a little crazy since most turned humans went slightly crazy for the first three or four full moons which was going to suck since they were all going to have to watch over him. Gabe shook his head as a disterbing thought popped into his head, he heard that some turned humans went after the one how bit/ nearly killed them. He had to smile though since the boy would be going up against two vary strong and vary aggressive wolves, so if the boy did go after them he would most likely die sine there would be two of them and not just one. Gabe jumped slightly when he heard Ani yell for Cyrus, She has a good set of lungs on her. He thought as he chuckled softly and chucked a few stones into the tree's off to the side.
Brea could sence that Ani had gone through the same thing that she had gone through though she wasn't going to bring it up since it was bad enough for one to relive old memories. She smiled slightly at Ani, "Well thats good I guess." She said as she looked at the table again then jumped when Ani yelled for Cyrus, she smiled again hearing Cyrus's nickname. "How did he get the name Cheeko?" Brea asked feeling curious, since most nicknames had a story behind them. He's coming closer Brea. Her wolf said excitedly though not as excited as before, Brea rolled her eyes slightly as she looked at the door. She had a feeling that her wolf would make her do something to make her look stupid.

Ah.. Well, its time to go do what I usually do when Cyrus is down and in lupine form. Ani grinned, and got up onto her feet. "He got his little nickname because he is a little softy, and in wolf form if you pet him, he turns into a little puppy," She answered Brea's question with a grin. "You may come if you wish," Ani then added, sensing that Cyrus was now a couple of meters from the house. She quickly bolts out of the house, and dashed over to Cyrus, already seeing his rather cute, but sad face. "Aww, little Cheeko is sad again?" She cooed in a teasing tone, gently scratching the side of Cyrus's neck. Immediatly, her brother let out a grunt and lowered his head, his tail beginning to lash. Ani grinned ever wider, and pet the top of his head, and soon the massive lupine dropped onto his side, letting out soft grunts as his tail lashed. "Happy little Cheeko!" Ani giggled a bit as she sat onto his flank, scratching him behind the ear which caused his hind leg to lift into the air and shake a bit.

Cyrus sensed that Ani was planning something, and swiveled his ear as he neared the house. A soft yawn escaped his jaws as he neared, and his lupine was indeed a bit tired to be a bit crazy about Brea's lupine once again. They are close.. Was all his lupine murmured, and then Ani suddenly bolted out of the house. Cyrus just merely blinked, keeping his muzzle low as she neared him. He scowled a bit at her little statements which sounded like she was talking to a puppy, but then relaxed when he felt her scratching at his neck. This was what makes Cyrus turn into a giant teddy-bear.. His lupine form is pretty sensative to these kind of gestures, so by instinct Cyrus reacts this way. He lets out a soft grunt as he plopped down onto his side, letting out grunts as Ani continued to pet him.

"You've never seen Char throw a temper tantrum have you? She used to have them pretty often when she had just started living here, and her job sucked pretty bad. Every night she used to come home, throw her work crap on the couch, and cook us dinner while swearing about one thing or another. She still works, but it's only for appearance. Right now she's a lawyer or something like that I think. She got a degree online and went off into the big wide world of lawyers, helping the rich sue those they think are a danger to them," Alex told him. Char had been a waitress for a while, and she couldn't stand it. The idiot men asking for their "Golden brown toast" and all of that stupid stuff. "I'm fine. It hurt but she let up before I really got pounded. I can't remember anything after that though, which is the issue. All I can remember is a vague werewolf shape over top of my shoulder and that's it," he said, pondering over his lack of remembering. What had happened in those few quick moments?

Persephone growled at Char, tears still streaming down her face. She yelled at her, "Where were you?! Off with that guy over there? You could have, have stopped it! Y-you knew about them and w-we didn't!" She hadn't seen either of those two anywhere to be found when Alex had gone after the two wolves. She knew that wasn't a fair excuse, since she could already tell they were part of the general pack, but it was the perfect thing to give her the upper hand in this argument of sorts. She had to push Char away from her, get her off of her fury before she actually followed through with this insane plan to punish her!

While Char stood back, eyes wide with either pain from the low blow or fury, Cayen stepped forward and slapped the girl in the face. It was hard and well-earned, due to the fact that she was a lying, conniving, little piece of s*** that didn't deserve anything she had. She would be well placed on the full moon, oh yes she would. He sincerely hoped that when Alex turned he would have the guts to take his bit of meat and Ani would take her pound of flesh. She would deserve anything she got, well and truly.

Char had taken a step back from the girl, hurt flowing through her as well as doubt. She had left them alone. She didn't tell them about the new wolves. She never gave them reason not to attack. She never told the wolves about the children. This was all her fault, she thought angrily. If she'd only done a few more things then none of this would have happened. Shake it off. What's done is done, her wolf snapped at her. Char took the advice and smirked as the only submissive in the room slapped the stupid girl in the face. Who would have thought Cayen had it in him to such a thing to a girl? Especially one like Persephone? It made her proud to be Cayen's sister at that exact moment.
