Kale didn't say anything just kept nibbling on her cone with a small smile on her face. I eat ice cream as often as it's on sale, or I have a coupon, and I manage to stay in shape well enough to be able to run or play a good game of tennis, but I'm sure hockey is different.

"Plus ice cream well it may give me energy, but it actually makes me tired quickly and such. Plus it makes me slower if I eat it before a game," Darren said.

"That's interesting," Kale said before shoving the rest of her cone in her mouth and crunching down, relishing the taste of ice cream and cone. She chewed quickly and swallowed, licking her lips with satisfaction. "I don't think I get any energy from ice cream, I usually eat it whilIe I'm watching a movie."

[We have to be at church in thirty minutes so if I poof you know Who's house I'm in.]

"Well all food give you energy," Darren said with a shrug of his shoulders. "Some more than others. Ice cream doesn't give much, but it can make you hyper," He added.

"All the sugar, and especialy if it has corn syrup or hydrogenated stuff, which I detest." Kale said as she made a face.

Darren nodded. "Uh sure, we can go with that," He said with a weak smile on his lips as he looked toward her. "So what would you like to do now?" He asked.

"Talk some more on the subject of health foods," Kale replied with a straight face before laughing lightly. "What I want to do, hm, well to be honest I'd like to go to the bathroom before anything else," She said truthfully.

Darren laughed softly. "Alright, you can go to the bathroom," He said as he smiled toward her. "That seriously wasn't what I was expecting," He added in a soft chuckle.

"Well what were you expecting?" Kale raised her hands in the 'what can I say' gesture. "Anyway, I'll be right back," She said with a grin as she turned around and made her way into the ladies room. A few minutes later, she came out after drying her hands on a paper towel.

Darren sat on a bench quietly looking up toward the sky with his eyes shining slightly. He didn't even notice Kale come back out. It's a nice day out, He thought.
