Nikki sighed and looked at the back door, why was it open? She asked herself. She got up and walked slowly to it.

"Yep. It's nothing fancy but I used to make this when I was a teen for my uncle." Kale said with a smile as she pulled out two plates and handed him one. "Help y'self, I dunno how much you can eat."

"Er, yeah, just fine," Jimmy said with a weak chuckle in his voice.

Pavel laid happily in one of his lawn chair, relaxing.

Darren chuckled and nodded as he began to put some of the food on his plate happily. "I never know how much I'll eat either,' He said with a chuckle.

Nikki looked out through the curtains but not moving them. She saw Pavel and walked to the couch and sat down. She smiled very faintly.

Pavel continued to sit outside with a slight smile on his lips.

Kale smiled as she took some of the chicken and opened a drawer to take out two forks. She passed one to Darren and put hers on her plate.

Darren grinned slightly. "Thank you," He said as he took the fork and made his way to the table. He sat down and waited for her to come and join him.

Kale walked over to the table and sat down across from him, sticking her fork in her chicken for a moment. She shut her eyes and quietly murmured a prayer before opening them again with a smile.

Darren happily began to eat. "Oh, this is good," He chuckled after her swallowed his first bite. "You're not half a bad cook. I might keep ya," He joked with a playful smile on his lips.
