"It wasn't entirely Sapphire's fault. I know that," Jake replied with a small shrug. "Red was running a red light on a four way too. Nothing good could have resulted from that." He sighed a little and fell back on his pillow. "It still hurts to see her go."

(Sapphire ran the red light)

"Red was going on a green light from what I hear," Days told Jake. "It was an oil spill and bad brakes," she said, stting in a chair next to his bed.

"Oh," Jake mumbled with a small sigh as he looked up at the ceiling and closed his eyes. "I wish it didn't have to take Red's life. I don't like how accidents randomly choose their victims. They usually choose the innocent ones over the ones that caused the accident."

Meggie knew of the death. Joli knew. Not a single person in the town didn't know. Meggie took out her notepad and wrote down: "Red has died. All know of the death. Public funeral times: ?...Family funeral times: ?. Maybe they don't want to think about it."

"I know," Days replied. "She stold some things from her ex-boss and has been arrested," she told Jake, trying to remember the scene. "Just be glad you survived," she said trying to smile.

"Yeah, I guess," Jake replied with a weak smile. "With a shattered arm and a few random cuts and bruises. Which isn't such a bad deal when you think about it." He looked over to his left arm with a small frown. "I still can't move it though."

Angel followed Keith into the store quietly "You're the younger one"

Angel shrugged and followed him deeper into the store "Why do you always come here?"

Sapphire sighed as changed into a prision suit and was led off to a cell. Sighing, she sat ont the bed and looked around.

Days smiled at her brother. "It's going to take a while to heal," she said. "I'm going to watch Emma-Rose and Sky for a few days until everything calms down," she said. "Sky wasn't happy," she told Jake.

Keith glanced at her "Because it's quiet and peaceful"
Angel glanced at the ground "Think we should visit those famlies?"
Keith shrugged "Go if you like, I'm staying with Zack" He gently tugged on the leash and rubbed the dog.
Angel nodded and slipped out of the shop and headed towards the hosiptal.

"I know." Jake tried to move his arm, but only wiggled his fingers. "I'm sure Sky was upset. Same with the entire family. I'm sure they're worried about Mr. Lewis over there too."
