Alec shrugged "No problem." he said then he hugged Allie and kissed the top of her head before he went of to do some things.

Allie smiled and looked at Quinton and Jayna and smirked.

Nene: She winced and looked away, she hated seeing him like this but hopefully it would be over soon. "I'm so sorry, Æsc. If only I would have been there sooner they wouldn't have done this to you."

[Tala Lakota]

Quinton smiled back at Allie and chuckled as Jayna flew through him and into the building without waiting for them. He shook his head and started forward.

"No!" Æsc growled forcefully at her, the pain only making his growl that much more potent, "This is not . . . your fault." He looked at her and grabbed her hand, "Don't you dare . . . blame yourself. The fault lies only in Lamia, the one's who . . . commissioned her, and," he turned his head to look at the top of the tent and said softly, "myself."
"Rune, don't--" Bran was cut off as Æsc cried out in pain.
"Found it," the healer said with a smirk as she pulled the knife out.
Æsc's body shivered as the steal slipped out of his torso and the long pair of tweezers went in even slower.

Nene:She flinched again at his growl and his pain. "How is this your fault? I can understand Lamia and the others..but how could you blame yourself?

Allie smiled and followed him happily as she looked around.

Æsc didn't answer as at that moment the healer grabbed the end of the bullet slowly and un-gently, forcing him to clamp his mouth shut to keep from yelling again. As the bullet was revealed there was nothing obviously strange about it, it was a lead bullet, a cheep one at that. She looked at it a moment before raising it to her nose and sniffing closely. Then she smirked, "Wolfbane, but that doesn't explain why it took so long to take effect." She shrugged as she dropped the bullet on a table beside the cot then place her hand on either side of the wound spreading her fingers so that the thumbs and forefingers of each hand met and formed a bit of a spade around the small hole. She closed her eyes and concentrated, somehow completely ignoring the fresh cries as Æsc wasn't able to keep them in. It felt like serrated nails were being slowly pulled out of each of his nerve endings as the healer removed the poison from his body, a purplish goo started to leak from from the wound.

Quinton entered the building and looked around curiously, he always felt weird in a new house for some reason and this time was no different.

Nene: She had to cover her mouth from gagging, even as a vampire, she never did go good with open wounds. Especially ones that oozed strangely colored goo.

[Tala Lakota]

Æsc released her hand and forced out, "You can . . . go, I'll . . . be fine." He could feel the pain receding along with the poison but the extracting of it was worse than when it had been put in, which was saying something because Lamia had purposely aimed at his rib, both to cause more pain and to keep the bullet from going straight through.

Nene: Her eyes were pleading. "No, I can stay here, it's fine."

Æsc looked up at her and gave her a pained smile before wincing and turning away again saying, "Whatever you want."
It seemed to him like an eternity before he could feel the last of the wolfbane finally leave his system and the wound start to close.
The healer finished with him, then, wiping the blood from her hands said brusquely, "I want him out of here as soon as he can move." She didn't wait for an answer before disappearing once more into the back of her tent.
"You're going get it for that," Æsc said tiredly looking at Cavan's father.
The Alpha smirked, "I know but it was worth it." Bran gave Nene's shoulder a comforting squeeze before following the healer.
Æsc closed his eyes warily, the woman had used his own energy to heal him and as such he was now exhausted. His entire body was covered with a thin layer of sweat, he was panting as if he'd just run a great distance, and his hands trembled slightly.
