Kiah watched all this with wided eyes. When Cavan and Eztli disappeared, she wished like hell that she could do the shadow-port thing that Eztli did, but she couldn't. Eztli was majorly powerful. Darkness was young and inexperienced. Not to mention weak. Especially after the whole Cavan thing. It probably wasn't a good idea to follow them now, anyways. Eztli needed her space and maybe even some soothing words from Cavan. She'd stay here with Rune and Nene.. Just waiting for them to come back. She walked over and sat a few meters away from the couple, staring at the ground. "This is messed up.." She whispered, not sure if she was speaking to them or to the ground.. Or herself. Whatever.

Alex stirred, mumbling something that sounded suspiciously like Ketan's name under her breath.

"Good. Don't want this relationship to be one-sided or anything." Crayon said with a small nod. He was pulling out of his weird mood pretty fast.

Gawain smirked, "Don't worry, he'll be back and you can try again." As he spoke the teacher walked back in shaking his head and apologizing. "Try a snake, most black guys are terrified of creepy-crawlies."

Quinton smirked, pulling his hand out of her hair and tapping her nose, "Definitly."

Æsc shook his head, looking at Nene, "No, it's not. I should've pushed her away the first time I met her. I should've never let her care for me so much. I knew it would only hurt her." He turned and looked at Kiah, "Life is messed up, but I'm used to it by now."

Kiah blinked at him, feeling the kind of sad love from his epic speech. "So, I was right. I just said it in a.. less awesome and cool sounding way. 'This is messed up..'"

Æsc shrugged, "Yes, it is. Very messed up." He sighed, "I should've never let any of this happen."

"Don't blame yourself." Kiah murmured. "You can't stop yourself from falling in love, Rune. If you love Nene, then don't let her go. Who cares how bad everything gets. As long as you have her, right ?"

"Maybe, but I could've kept her," he nodded towards where Eztli and Cavan had vanished, towards where raised, angry voices could be heard, "from falling in love with someone who couldn't love her back and would only hurt her."

Kiah watched him a little longer, trying to avoid listening to the angry voices.. They were really loud. Maybe she could calm them down.. "That's code for you, isn't it ?" She asked, frowning slightly. She couldn't remember Eztli liking anyone else except for Rune..

"Don't see anyone else hurting her at the moment," Æsc said with a sigh and looking at the ground, "or for that matter with the ability to do so."

Kiah twitched, hating the shouts that she could hear. "Someone tell me whether or not I should go to try to stop them. I can't think. Quickly, please." She said, standing up.

"You'll probably get your face chewed off if you try," Æsc said with a shrug, "but if you're brave enough to risk it then I don't see a reason not to try."
