Æsc didn't answer but winced at the tone in her voice. He didn't see a reason to not think like that, he was numb inside now and couldn't feel anything towards her, not anger or sadness, or even pain, he'd completely shut off. All he could feel was the stabbing and aching of his wounds.
He looked over his shoulder as there was a loud rumbling and a large chunk of the building fell off sending up a cloud of dust. There were people fleeing everywhere, both the scientists and those they'd been experimenting on.

Nene: She barely noticed the rumbling. All she was thinking is what was going to happen next. She ran and ran and suddenly they were in thick forest. She decided now would be a good time to rest and heal Æsc. Her arms loosened and she let him slump against a wide tree.

(sorry i had to run on the treadmill D:)

Æsc winced with every move he made so after she set him down he remained perfectly still and limp, and his eyes were closed making him look unconscious. The ground started to shake underneath and the rumbling could be heard even louder. Cavan eventually came running up behind them with an unconscious Eztli on his back and a smirk on his face.

Nene: She looked at Cavan. "Do you have a knife?"

[Tala Lakota]

"Always," Cavan replied. He balanced all of his and Eztli's weight on one foot then picked the other up. He pulled the leg of his pants up and slipped a large knife out of a sheath there. He flipped it and caught the blade then handed it to her hilt first.

He smiled, "It wasn't too bad, but I did get attacked by a ravenous hawk today." He laughed, he loved his job.

Allie held back a laugh as she looked down "I wish i was there to see that." she said glancing back at him.

Nene: She grabbed it and made an incision on her wrist, making her blood flow. The ruby colored liquid dripped down her arm and onto Æsc's wounds, making the smaller ones close up instantly.

Quinton chuckled, "You would've laughed, everyone else did. By the way, if you're ever feeding a large, hungry, wil raptor, make sure to get the food out as fast as possible, or they get impatient. Now," he said looking at her seriously, "about this thing you want."

Æsc hissed and his face screwed up in pain but he didn't move otherwise. Cavan frowned, he and Æsc were good friends and he hated to see him like this.

Nene: She winced. "I'm so sorry. It'll be over soon." Most of his wounds weren't that deep and they healed within a couple of minutes.

Allie smiled at him "And what about this thing i want?" she said playfully.
