Out of the Light (Not accepting)

Hollow nodded, "Yeah. I'll go help." He said standing also.

"Okay then." said Ford, walking out of the door. When he reached Gabriel's door, he groaned. The ice wall was still in the way. "Now what?" he said.

Heather was in a minor daze and turned to the others and muttered "my grandmother was called Amariss" her eyes seemed a little glazed over "?I don't know if it's the same woman but..." she trailed off

i never knew my grandmother leena said to herself

Heather looked at the journal in Ford's hands "my mother died during childbirth, I only found out my grandmother was called Amariss because one o the scientists that tested on me let it slip" she mumbled

[neon.]

"Tested on you?" Ford said, alarmed. He had been zoned out, staring at the wall for most of the conversation, and had just heard the end part. "Who tested on you?"

"the scientists at the center, they were trying to find ways of altering human DNA to help us survive, hence why I have wings, they tested on me to see if any other things developed, some 'strange' things happened when they did the tests..." she trailed off agian, a tear rolled down her face "the shock tests were the worst" she mumbled

[neon.]

"That's horrible!" Ford exclaimed, aghast. Noticing that Heather was crying, Ford walked over to where she was and hugged her. "It's okay." he said, releasing her from the hug. "That was in the past."

"that must have been scary" leena said feeling sympathey for her.

Heather froze up when Ford hugged her and unstiffend when he let go "it might be in the past, but it leaves scars, mentaly and physically" she rolled her leeve up to the elbow and scratched her arm, in doing so she revealed a scar that ran from 3 inches from her wrist all the way up to the inside of her elbow and dissapearing under her jacket sleeve, shewas vaguely aware of a dull pain in her stmach, like what she had had latley, but not as strong she realized that the others could probably see her scar and pulled her sleeve down quickly
