Shane started to wall off towards the entrance to camp when it hit her. "well as long as it's still you behind those pretty eyes." max had said. Did he not like her eyes without the makeup. Her confidence level went down again. She hid her face I'n her hair.

"hey that looks like a bunny!" drew laughed. He loved rabbits. He used to have one too.

"oh how fun!" Chiron exclaimed his eyes glittering.

"ah yeah totally fine. Nothing wrong here. Never felt better" she babbled with a small smile. She put some hair behind her ear and smiled weakly at him.

"I'm serious I'm fine" Shane replied holding his hands which were in front of her then looked up at him. "can we just get to the pier?" she asked.

"thanks" Shane said with a smile as her self confidence grew. It seemed all she really needed to hear was that. She took his large hand on her small one and continued to walk along with him smiling.
