(("Your" character is named Dante, has a brother named Virgil/Vergil, hunts demons... sounds a lot like Devil May Cry... you're even using pictures from there... You are missing the point. This is an ORIGINAL roleplay, born from our minds, not referenced from elsewhere.
Perhaps you could embellish on your personality, history, likes, dislikes, etc. as well? Or will you explain once you post? (Sticking to your creativity, not someone else's who worked hard to make their characters and stories unique). Remember, you're being unfair to the people who created Devil May Cry by copying them so closely. If this was a Devil May Cry roleplay or a fan-fiction, that would be more than welcome. You would be applauded. However, this is Marigold High, which is an original story with original characters and original situations. (You're working on your bios too, right Cleo?)
This is how the amazing stories we all know and love came to be--people created them from the very depths of their hearts and souls, and inspirations from their personal life experiences. Remember when Lyric's "friends" all ganged up on her on the phone, telling her they basically hated her and were merely using her to boost their own status? Well, that happened to me in real life--on several occasions. And Spec? He's like me in more ways than I care to admit (except for the whole love-stricken part--I'm not much of a romantic when it involves me).
So please, everyone, stay original. I fully intend on making this a manga once I improve my art.
However, Roxas305, here's some food for thought: since your character likes video games (that's the only thing he likes right now!), he could be a major fan of "Devil May Cry". That's fine

Name-Lyric Anya Bayshire
Nicknames-Bay (taken from her last name and also the first syllable in "Beethoven", since she composes music like Caroline does. This nickname also suits her because she loves water.) Only her ex-best friends and ex-boyfriend called her Bay. However, at Marigold High, people tend to call her by her real name, "Lyric".

Appearance-(I have drawn many sketches of Lyric and will post an original picture of her as soon as I can! For now, I'll describe her with words): She has golden hair that is straight at the roots but finishes in curls at the ends. Her hair turns to strawberry blond in the sunlight. Add her trademark eyes that change with the ocean, her guy-pleasing figure, a sprinkling of freckles, and you have Lyric.
Shifted form- (This is NOT my picture. I'm just using it as a reference so you can get an idea of how Lyric's shifted form looks.)
Personality-Raised in New York City, Lyric is a confident city girl and a shopping savvy. A believer in routines, she enjoyed taking walks around NYC and going to all her favorite places, like Central Park, the subways, and the Brooklyn Bridge. At her previous schools, Lyric was considered popular and had many friends. On the outside, she was perfect, but on the inside, she's an insecure person with very real powers. Marigold High seems to bring this hidden girl out. At first, she's shocked that the people here don't worship her like in NYC. She not only has to fit into this new school, but this new life! After going from the cool girl to the girl without any friends, Lyric really begins missing her friends back in NYC (especially her boyfriend!). But when her "friends" begin to show a lack of interest, Lyric slowly discovers the difference between true friends and people who follow you because of your status. Going to Marigold High not only morphs her personality, but her point of view.
History-Lyric is a new student at Marigold High. She came all the way from New York City, where she grew up, so California is a big change! That change seems to magnify when her first day goes terribly wrong. You see, in her freshmen year, she attended a normal school, despite the knowledge she had of her powers nearly her whole life. Even though she received Marigold High's invitation letter before her ninth grade year, Lyric became frightened by it. This is because here she was, thinking her whole life that she was some kind of freak, different from everyone else, although she certainly didn't show it. As crazy as it sounds, discovering that she was suddenly no longer alone scared Lyric. She doesn't like change, and this letter would change her life forever. Furthermore, she didn't want her parents to find out about her powers by revealing the letter. She had kept them a secret for her whole life (she didn't even tell her best friends!). Since she didn't attend Marigold High in her freshmen year, it takes Lyric awhile to adjust to the new place, the people, and being away from her parents. Like I said, change.
Species-A rare golden tiger (they're real, by the way. They're also referred to as strawberry blonde tigers.)
Power-Shapeshifting fully into a golden tiger (she can't control this, though, so she has a tendency to dash out of class to transform!) She can also somewhat control water (this includes breathing under water!) It makes sense that she also has this power because tigers are the only cats who like water. She has finally developed this power after nearly drowning in a pond.
Weapons?-Her sharp teeth and claws are her weapons!
Family-Just her parents who she lived with in Manhattan, New York her whole life until now. They are wealthy and like to spoil their only child. Thank goodness Lyric didn't grow up to be a spoiled brat, despite. However, she can get... needy.
Siblings-None...that she knows of.
Likes-The ocean, the Brooklyn Bridge, Central Park, Broadway, acting, composing music (different genre than Caroline's, though), cats, swimming, sprinting, hot guys, etc.
Strengths-Having a good sense of direction, (usually) getting her way.
Skills-Self-taught fighting.
Dislikes-Change, betrayal, people ignoring her, being different (New York City doesn't count, because everyone is "different" there) the fact that she doesn't have one of the New York accents like her parents, friends, and (ex-)boyfriend, even though she's lived in New York as long as she can remember, Aeryn, etc.
Weakness-Change! And also too sensitive and needy.
Flaws-Not embracing change enough and shallow (basically, refer to "weaknesses")
Favorite Quote-"Prices a even a New Yorker will love" (or something along those lines)--a real quote from an advertisement I saw in New York City.

Crush-A boy named Justin (minor character not worth making a profile for... you'll see why) from New York. Now her ex-boyfriend. After Justin dumped her, Lyric has developed feelings for a random cute guy she spotted in the hall on the way to breakfast on the second day of school. Although she doesn't know his name yet, this guy happens to be Steven!
Love-Justin (or so she thought...) They broke up when Lyric faithfully called Justin and he basically revealed that he hated her.
Dorm-Girls' Dorm: Room 1. Her roommate is Amira.
Pets?-Her only friend in California so far, a dolphin named Dolton (Dolton the Dolphin!). (EDIT: I guess that never happened) XD She has some pets back at home in New York.
