Alex nudged Dusty's sides, Dusty began to canter, Alex steered him over to Sami.
"You okay?" he asked, swinging off of Dusty's back.

[sam sam]

She sat up gingerly on her butt, "I'm getting hurt to much today." She said standing on feet, seeing the pair of yellow eyes directly in front of her, she squealed and shut her eyes under pure pressure. "Alex..." She whimpered helplessly.

"Don't worry." Alex said, grabbing Bit's dangling reins and handed them to Sami. He swung on Dusty's back. "Hurry up, we should get out of here." he said before nudging Dusty's sides. The gelding galloped foreword. "Get back, darned coyotes!" Alex said as Dusty reared up in fright.

Sami flipped and charged back to the barn and didn't stop. She stopped and closed her eyes out of the pasture, she was shking and could barely walk, she grabbed onto the fence to keep from falling over.

Dusty bucked, throwing Alex back in the saddle. A coyote appeared out of the bushes, growling. "Back!" he yelled as the coyote came closer.
Dusty galloped down the trail, heading away from the barn. Alex held tight to the reins, turning the horse around.
He met Sami at the gate of the pasture, Dusty was still alert and frightened.
"You okay?" he asked, out of breath.

"Yeah are you?" She asked, without waiting for an answer, she ran into the barn, passed the new arrival, and into the tack room, she grabbed a case, un zipping it. She pulled out her 22 double barrel shot gun, and loaded in a bullet. She walked back passed the girl and horse and back to Alex. "I'm getting back at this thing." She said holding her finger to the trigger, and holding it to her shoulder. She was still pondering wither to shot it, or get close to it and scare the poo outta him. She looked at Alex, and then back at the sight, the coyote was right on target, she was temoed to shoot right then and there.

"Uh, yeah." Alex said, re mounting Dusty to keep him calm. He watched Sami, tightening his grip on the reins, knowing the shot would scare Dusty.

She decided not to shot it, just miss it narrowly, "Is Dusty gonna be okay?" She asked looking at Alex.

"Probably, he's never been around guns, so I'm not quite sure though." Alex said, looking at Sami, then backing Dusty up.

Sami nodded and pulled the trigger, shooting right under it's belly. She lowered the gun watching the coyote take off. She watched it satisfied and looked back at Dusty.
