"Yes I am. I accidentally let your horse go, and now I hurt my own horse." Alex said, looking at Dusty playfully bobbing his head in the stall.

"Your...one of the best people I know...Don't beat yourself up." She said laying a hand on his knee, as if a comforting notion.

[the d]

"Thanks." Alex said, smiling softly.
"All of those things I said earlier, I didn't mean it." he said as Dusty whinnied happily at something.

"I'm still really mad, and I'm not sure if i forgive you..." Sami said truthfully looking Alex. Her lips began to soften and quiver.

"I know, I would be mad too." Alex said calmly, listening to the rain on the roof of the barn, it was relaxing.
"Wanna go back to the lodge?" he asked, noticing that the tornado didn't sound close.

"And leave Dusty here?" She asked. She looked at him intently.

"Good point." Alex said with a yawn. Thunder rumbled in the distance, even that sounded relaxing at the time.
"Look, I was stupid, I didn't mean anything, I'm sorry. You'll probably hate me for all my life, but I just wanted to apologize." he said, getting up and walking to Dusty's stall.

Prince looked around stunned. After seconds he noticed that he was in the path of the tornado. Prince knew what was going to happen but stood his ground and braced himself to die

Sami watched him and nodded, she sighed, "I"m going back to the basement, I would take him back to shelter, meet me where we were to talk if you want to." She said bolting toward the lodge, and darted down the stairs, weaving in between the people and sat onto the couch, which now had another male occupant who was snoring softly.
