Wildflower got up, her legs shaky. She gave a sad little whinny of pain.

Lily pushed the mare against the nearest wall for support. "Stay put, girl, I think this little old basement has some medicine hidden..," she said and released the halter, running to the far dark end where old, rotten and dusty wardrobes stood. She began searching through the mess until she found... Iodine. "Ugh, that'll hurt..," she mumbled and ran back to Wildflower. Alejandro's head stopped shaking and he walked over to stand by Wildflower's side. The black friesian neighed to the other horses, but it was no use to 'calm them down'.

Danielle hugged Knight's neck, a tear of fear streamed down her cheek and Knight hugged her with his head, nuzzling her gently, knowing she was afraid and needed comfort.

[sam sam]

Sami looked at the ground, "Get the stuff you need, and a flash light, we need to treat it in safety." She said patting the swety mare's neck.

Alex lead Dusty in to the dry barn, the rain still pouring outside. He put the gelding in his stall, stroking his wet neck. Alex went to the tack room and got a blue blanket for Dusty, he threw it over the horse's back, then fastened the straps. He re-wrapped the gelding's leg, then went to get his feed.

"Your leaving him here, in a tornado?" She asked, disgusted. She looked at him, watching him bustle around the empty barn.

"I'm trying to help him. There is no way I'm making my horse climb in and out of that basement. He's hurt." Alex said, clipping a lead rope to Dusty's halter, worried and upset.

[sam sam]

"Then why did you run him like a maniac?" She asked setting her hand delicately on her hip, a scowl on her face.

[the d]

"Because I was mad." Alex said, hugging Dusty softly. The gelding nipped at his hair and nickered, then bobbed his head playfully.

[sam sam]

"And looked what's happened now." She snapped back slowly, looking at him coolly.

"I know. I'm just stupid." Alex said, walking out of the stall, upset.
He sat on a hay bale, playing with the lead rope.
