Alex looked back at the tornado, they were almost at the barn. He pulled up the driveway quickly, not bothering to park the truck. "Go to the basement of the lodge!" he yelled, shutting off the engine and running towards the lodge.

Sami ran is fast as she could in her beat up boots. She made her way up the slick steps and to the door behind Alex, opening the door for him, "Go!" She bellowed, but she couldn't help but think about her brother, Dolton.

Honor watched the funnel of wind whirl and pick up dust. It spun loose debris around, abd made the girgeous day turn grey and dangerous. The wild mare shrieked and galloped out to the field, hoping it wouldn't move in the sane direction and rip up the grass and trees. She lost her herd, so she didn't feel safe and secure. Her palomino sabino coat was caked with dust that was blown.

Alex ran down the stairs to the basement, worrying about Dusty, he looked back at Sami, stopping halfway down the stairs.

Lily gave Dolton a slight nod while still petting Umenno's nose, forehead and neck to calm him down. "Stay quiet. I'll be back," she whispered softly to the stallion and went to help Dolton calm the other horses down.

Umenno snorted softly as the girl left him, he whinnied nervously, his head swinging again, but not as violently this time. His flanks were dripping in sweat.

Lily then went into Aurora's stall, placed on a bridle on the paint's mare and tied Alejandro's lead rope to the reins. She walked them out and went for Umenno, slipping a rope halter on his head and tieing the rope to Aurora's bridle reins whilst running for the back door. She could only save those horses and would do so. "Dolton," she shouted to him, "Take the horses and follow me. I know of a place," she told him. So she mounted Aurora bareback, kicked her sides and she spurred into a gallop, leading the two stallions behind her. Lily knew of a place... A place that was underground and safe... But she would have to go back for the rest.

Wildflower galloped back to the stables, her saddle falling off and her bridle damaged beyond compare. She saw the funnel cloud, and let out a loud whinny of terror. She was caught by one of the winds, which whisked her around and around, until dropping her, where she lay, quite still, blood trickling from a gash in her side.
