Fern slumps against the wall and slides down. The push had taken what little strength he had left. He watches Ryder crawling towards him. "I'm trying to help you understand. Theres only one way that you can tell her that she will truly understand." Fern lays his head against the wall giving in to the desire to close his eyes. Had he wasted everything on this for nothing?

Talan walks down the hall towards the holding room. The Jedi would surely use the same one for him. As she approaches two girls come running out of the room in a panic. Fear grips her. "Ryder!" Talan flies the remaining length of the hall and steps into the doorway. Her eyes grow wide at the sight of the destruction. They lock on the boy in the corner and Ryder crawling towards him. She stands, stunned.

Ryder hadn't noticed talan come in. "yeah? Well how could you possibly know what I should say to talan?"

Jolla let go of the Senator's arm as soon as she showed signs of running. She quickly bolted after her and used the force to gain speed. When Jolla was in front of the senator, she turned around and held her hands out to stop her. "Senator! I need you to calm down. He can't hurt you here. Don't worry, why don't you let me take you back to your home?" Jolla asked with a pleading look. She didn't deal with stressed out people very well...

Alderaan-Residential district

Trella nodded to Mara. "Well that's understandable, but if you think about it...it's not like it's your fault that you're force sensitive and you can't really control who attempts to kidnap you. If you could than it wouldn't happen in the first place. Don't worry I'll try and talk them out of giving you a harsh punishment. After all I was there to save the day anyway!" The last sentence was said in a teasing voice as she looked around and the many people.

There was a cry of joy (or something like that) from a woman with frizzy brown hair much like Mara's. She came running from where she was reading a tablet and crushed MAra in a big bear hug.
"Where were you!?!?!" she said, her joy turned to anger,
"It's not my fault this time mom, I swear," MAra said.

Fern laughs slightly, he was starting to become delirious. "I haven't a clue what to say. I just know that the Echani believe that battle tells all. Its the most important aspect of their culture. If-" Fern stops to cough for a second then opens his mouth to continue but is cut off as someone else finishes his statement.

Talan stares at the pair. They were fighting about the Echani? The boy starts to explain the language of battle but stops. Her mouth follows the words that he speaks. "the thought is there then your actions will show it. Battle is truth. The truth is honor." Talan stares at Ryder. He would be responsible for the damages but why? Something to do with her, but what? "Ryder, what happened?"

Ryder spun around hearing talons voice. He tried to stand but was still paralyzed. Ryder cursed...stupid, no good, paralysis! "I got a little angry." he said trying to keep eye contact from her.

Talan steps around the debris littering the floor. "A little angry? Seems like he had you pegged for something." Talan grabs his arm and pulls him into a seated position. "I thought I told you to leave?" She crosses to where the boy lay slumped against the wall. He was hurt fairly badly but he would live. She gently lays him down on the ground to rest before returning her attention to Ryder.

Ariella stopped and nodded. "but will I be safe there?" she asked the Jedi afraid Ryder was going to get her.

Ryder sat on the floor still not making eye contact. "the kid was just getting on my nerves." ryder said trying to avoid what the fight was really about.
