Ren listened intently to Master Naraced as he explained the inner workings of Kanar's saber. She fingered her own saber, trying to remember what kind of crystals she had chosen when she first created her saber.

Kanar picked his saber out of the air and returned it to his belt,
"Congratulations on your lightsaber experitse," he said a bit sarcasticly, "Now is there a reason we're examining my weapon? Or are you just dong it because I was late?"

Ferne'is and Talin Eldin AND Severtiel Nareced

Sev pulls another saber from his robes and levitates it the same way. The weapon consists of the same crystals except the tinting crystal was red. "Note the similarities between this, one of Talan's initial blades, and Kanar's." The saber reassembles and floats down to his hand. "Talan is deaf to the Force. She is forced to rely on her skills with the blade alone. A true Sith, her Master, will rival her swordsmanship while wielding great power in the Force. Her blade will consist of many crystals that will allow her to amplify her rage. So she will be capable of far greater feats." His eyes flash to Kanar and lock on him. "In a fight..." His hand flies out sending a single bolt of lightning into Kanar. "A Sith will strike without warning and without mercy." His eyes settle on Ren. "You must learn to defend against their power."

Ren nodded. She smiled a little to herself. This wasn't going ot be easy. All the better. She noted the similarities betweem Kanar's blade and Talan's, filing them away in her mind for later use.

Kanar immedietly ignited his lightsaber on instinct and swung it to block the lightning. The saber caught most of it but some of it hit him and he jumped back and grimaced. He sheathed his lightsaber and glared deeply at Master Nareced.
Jeez, I knew he didn't like me, but come on... he thought. He'd never seen a Jedi use Force Lightning before and he wondered where Master Nareced had learned. He kind of had a desire to learn himself. Lightning could be useful in a fight, against Sith or other wise.
They'd never teach me though. The Council doesn't trust me, I ought to know that.
He straightened up again and too a deep breath.

Sev drops down from his perch. "Now everyone will pair off and practice evading and deflecting Force push." He places his hand on Kanar's shoulder. "You are not the only one to have once let fear grip their heart Kanar. Do not make that mistake." He gestures for Kanar to pair with Ren before taking a seat.

Ren looked over at her master, trying to hear what he was saying to Kanar. When he pointed to her, the girl wondered what was in store for her.

Ren smiled challengingly. "I guess we are." she smirked. "I'll bet you're wondering why i'm here and not in the training room. To be honest, i wonder myself." she said, trailing off in thought.

Kanar nodded,
"Yes I do wonder," he said. Then without warning his hand shot out and her force pushed her back. He couldn't help but smile,
"When you're in a fight, always be alert and ready for an attack," he said.
