She looked up at her brother from her rope bed. "Um... Yeah, I'm fine." she lied.

Damian narrowed his eyes. "I've known you your whole stupid life, kid." he said. "I know when you're lying."

She gave up. "Remember when you let me climb that tree," she said, smirking at the memory. She ran a hand through her hair and stared at the ceiling. "I fell, and I didn't brake a thing. That's when you said I should go into war." she bit her lower lip. She looked at him. "I've been thinking hard on that."

Damian sighed. "I was joking, you idiot." he said. "And like the British Navy would let you in now. You're a pirate!"

She rolled her eyes and punched his shoulder playfully. "Well, duh!" she said and got up.

Damian sighed. "You were a better boy than a girl, you know?" he said.

Arabelle noticed Elewen's sharp teeth, and her eyes widened, but she didn't say anything. She glanced at her feet, shuffling them, and took out her sword, and pretened to be studying it.

She grinned. "Right," she said. "Yeah, it was a bit easier when I was 13 to pull it off," she said and crossed her arms over her chest.
She chuckled and went up on deck, running a hand through her short mess of hair.
