WhiteAsh Academy (Itermediate) {Vampire/ Romance RP}

Gabriel read completely through his schedule before looking back to the beginning and checking which class he had next. 'Biology' he said to himself, scowling 'oh great'. Authough he was quite intelligent, science had never been one of his strong points especially not biology. He thought of living creatures as food and nothing else. He had no desire to know how they worked.

Gabriel took a moment to stop by his locker and pull out his bag and biology book before turning and heading slowly to the science building, trying to delay the lesson as much as possible.

Before long, however, he arrived at the science bulding anf started counting along the rooms. He found his biology room about halfway down and entered. There weren't many people there yet, a couple of students and a very bored looking teacher.

The vampire sat at the back of the class and began automatically scanning the students' faces. There was one quite short girl with shoulder length brown hair and dark green eyes, a stocky boy with dull blonde hair and a very nervous expression on his face and a tall boy with short-cropped black hair and pale, hazel coloured eyes. Gabriel tended to watch people when he was bored, studying their faces and movements. It facinated him for some reason.

Arina found her way to the science building after only a few minutes of wondering around. She went halfway down the hallway and went inside the dull blue room; it smelled strongly of cleaning chemicals and other sanitary equipment.

The vampire sat down at a table in the back of the room next to a boy that looked a lot like her – at least species-wise. She looked at the boy from the corner of her eye, then around the room. A few people had come through the door and sat down more toward the front of the class.

Ari put her head down on the desk and sighed, wishing the class would start already.

Gabriel was shaken out of his thoughts by someone sitting next to him. He turned his head, preparing to scare them away, before he realized it was another vampire. She had dark brown hair, blue eyes tinged with red and pale skin like his. She was sitting with her head on the desk. Apparently she felt the same way about biology as he did.

He leant back in his chair, still watching the girl and considering talking to her. It had been a while since he'd seen another vampire let alone talked to one.

Arina looked over at the vampire she sat next to again, this time paying more attention to his expression. Why is he looking at me like that? Ari wondered. She sighed. “Pretty boring class, isn’t it?” she muttered, not caring if the boy paid any attention to what she said. Why am I even talking to him?

Arina’s mind went a thousand thoughts a minute, most of them about the strange vampire that was beside her. What should I do? Will I attack him, even for no reason? Most of the time she thought, it was about what she would do if she lost control of herself, but somehow, it changed into something that Ari hadn’t expected. What should I do if he doesn’t like me?

Gabriel nodded noncommitally and went back to satring at the class. More students were starting to filter in, all of them avoiding the two vampires as much as possible. The teacher was scribbling what seemed like nonsense to Gabriel on the chalkboard. Gabriel grabbed his biology book from the floor and starting copying down what the teacher was writing, not really paying attention to it at all.

He glanced back to the vampire next to him, wondering what to say.

"I'm Gabriel" he finally decided on "What's your name?"

Arina stiffened slightly. What was she supposed to do? "I'm Arina," she said. If she was still a human, her face would have been red instead of her eyes, but ever since she was transformed, she lost the ability to blush as well as other things, but gained even greater abilities in return.

“So… Gabriel… How-" She couldn't ask him how he was transformed, but what was she supposed to say? "Why are you going to school when you have all the freedom in the world as a-” She looked around the room to make sure no one was listening. “-a vampire?”

Gabriel shrugged, no longer looking at Arina.

"Why not?" he replied in his soft, accented voice "nothing else left..." His voice was getiing quieter and quieter as he spoke. He stopped himself from saying anymore and shook his head, turning back to Arina.

"What about you?" he asked

Arina sighed. "Same with me," she said. "There's nothing else for me to do with my spare time except to come here." Ari felt like she would do something she would regret, but she didn't understand why. Why do I feel like this? she asked her self. This is something that's completely different for me.

Ari shrugged it off and looked toward the front of the class. The middle-aged teacher kept writing things on the board – things that Arina didn’t even care about. She hated school as much as she hated the man that had killed her parents three years ago.

She could feel a deep growl escape her lips, too low for any human to hear. That man... He is the one I have to blame for putting me through this torture...

Gabriel went back to pretending to listen to the teacher for a while, his mind wandering back to before school. In Spain, the only time he could remeber being happy. Being taught by the vampire who made him, the vampire who killed his parents.

He jerked when he heard a barely audble growl coming from the vampire next to him.

"What's the matter?" he asked in a quiet voice

Arina jumped slightly and looked over at Gabriel. "Oh, it's nothing," she lied. "I was just thinking." She looked at her hands, balled into fists on her legs. "I was just thinking about what happened a few years ago, but it's nothing to really worry about."

Ari could tell that she had to be careful around this vampire; he's too observant for her to keep many things to herself. She could hear the teacher stop writing on the board.

"You two in the back," he said, "stop talking and pay attention. This will be on your test next week." He turned back around and continued talking to the class while Ari paid absolutely no attention to what he was saying.
