WhiteAsh Academy (Itermediate) {Vampire/ Romance RP}

Tanner silently stood back against a wall as he gazed upon the crowd. His thirst was quenched not too long ago, but it looked like people watching became his hobby. Or, at least planning his next meal was. Even though Tanner was a vampire, he wasn't too happy about killing other people just to keep him alive. He rubbed the toe of his shoe against the ground as his hands were placed into his pockets.

Anastasia rolled over and slammed her hand down on the alarm clock, turning of the ringing mechanism. She rolled out of her bed and stretched her arms. It had only been one day since she had arrived at this ' WhiteAsh Academy ' and, well... It hadn't exactly been all that peachy. Her plane was delayed, the bus was cramped, the room key broke, her luggage was sent to the wrong room and was then told that she had to go get it--- as you can see the list goes on.

" Alright, today can't really be much worse than yesterday. " She thought to herself, looking over at the empty bed on the other-side of the room. Anastasia hadn't been assigned a roommate, and wasn't going to get one until she was in an 'appropriate condition for others' as the lady at the front office had said.

Walking over to the wardrobe to get dressed she wondered " What type of uniform they have to wear here? " Anastasia drew forth the wardrobe doors, only to find a wide variety of school clothes. There were numerous pairs of jumpers, jackets, cardigans, shirts, skirts, pants, shorts, dresses, polo's, sports uniform and last of all, a single pair of carefully polished dark black slip on shoes. " Wow. " she said in a quiet voice. " I think I'll wear....this " she stated, pulling out a light blue, linen woven, button-up shirt and a darker blue skirt with a high waist.
Anastasia un-and-re dressed into the school clothes, slipping on the shoes as well. " not to bad if i do say so myself. " she said with a chuckle, looking in the full length mirror.

She then pulled out her hairbrush and make-up from her luggage and walked over to the desk, applying mascara and eyeliner. Anastasia only ever put on eyeliner and mascara (and occasionally eyeshadow) for she didn't like to coat her face in sticky goo. Finally (after brushing and styling her hair) she stood up and wafted to the door, feeling slightly more refreshed. She threw open the door to her room and stepped out into the cleanly cut marble hallway, not really knowing what to expect in this new - slightly strange - school.

OOC: And yes, she brushed her teeth (and such) somewhere in there. xD

Gabriel stood in the darkness of an alleyway between two classrooms. The gloom of the alley hid everything except for his deep red eyes that were glowing dimly like a cat at night.

He waited, so still that he looked frozen, for someone to pass close enough for him to grab. He hadn't managed to feed for a while and he was getting desperate. The blonde vampire blinked as he heard light footstepts coming closer and closer.

As a young, dark-haired boy passed by the alley where Gabriel was hidden, his hand shot out and dragged the boy close to him before he could even scream. He struggled weakly against Gabriel's chest but the vampire barely noticed. He was too focused on the large vein in the boy's neck. In an instant, he opened his mouth and sank his teeth into the boy's neck. His struggles got weaker and weaker as Gabriel drew more blood from his lithe body. The vampire paused and drew away from the boy's neck moments before he slipped from Gabriel's arms and collapsed to the ground, unmoving.

OOC: Hm.. You have a point there Angel, everybody needs roommates.
Jason is with Tanner, because they were the first boys to join.
Aria with Anatasia 'cause they're the only girl :3 And Gabriel? I guess you live alone, that is until
someone else joins. If you don't like that idea tell me and we'll switch (Yes, boys have to be
paired up with boys, girls have to be paired up with girls, sorry, its just the way it goes :3)

BIC:

Xavier Mackenzie slowly bent down, and picked up the lifeless body. It was limp, and the skin felt cold and clammy against his naked hands. A troublesome smile curved on the edges of his thirsty lips, and his ruby red eyes shone with the unmistakable look of blood lust. He drew his tongue slowly over his mouth, and imagined the taste, of her delectable flesh against his tongue. His fingers crept along her skin playfully, and he casually traced patterns around the main vain on the inside of her arm. His polished white teeth, were pointed, and he placed them before the vessel, and then with an exciting shriek, he bit down. hard. The liquid burst into his mouth, and created a salty flavor that erupted. The blood easily slipped down his throat, leaving him with a burning sensation in the muscles. A quiet, pained gasp game from her lips, her yes snapped open, and sharply, she flinched. Xavier was surprised at the sudden reaction. So. She was still alive? Surely this was unexpected. He quickly took her limp head between both of his hands, and twisted it to the side in a swift motion. Although Xavier enjoyed his meals, he had no interest in watching the people suffer. The pink softly faded from her cheeks, and her chocolate brown eyes were slowly closing. He was tired, and in no mood to hide the remains of the dead body, so nonchalantly, he dragged it across the muddy field, leaving a bright red trail of blood through the blooming flowers. He dropper her, and covered her up quickly with dirt, water and fallen yellow leaves.

Gabriel paused for a moment, watching the still body lying infront of him. He turned away and quickly made his way out of the alley. He made sure no one saw him as he left.

He strolled through the campus, hands in his jeans pockets, and made his way to his dorm. He still lived alone at the moment but that was the way he liked it. He sat down on the bed and stared at his unopened suitcases lying on the floor. He didn't really feel like unpacking but knew he should get it over with.

He opened his larger suitcase and started pulling out various clothes and it was only when he glanced down at the white t-shirt he was wearing that he realized it was stained with blood. "Damn" the vampire muttered as he pulled the shirt off fast, throwing it on the floor and pulling a new one quickly from his case. He growled and kicked the shirt under his bed. Blood didn't wash out easily so he'd have to figure out something else to do with it fast or when someone found that body, there'd be trouble.

Gabriel quickly threw the rest of his clothes into various draws and grabbed his favorite black jacket. He took a moment to check his appearance in the small mirror next to his bed before pulling on the jacket and leaving his dorm

BIC: Anastasia sighed and took a look both ways down the blazing white hallway. " So now what... " she thought and stepped back in the room.
" ring-ring. ring-ring!!! "
"Huh? " she said, turning around to face the phone neatly hidden in the corner. " Didn't know that there was a phone in here..... " she said quietly, walking over to the corner where it was placed. " hello? " she said, picking up the old-fashioned, wall attached phone. " Yes, this is the front office. We have decided to assign you a roommate, her name is Arina Flare, she is your age and will arrive shortly. " With no time to respond to her the lady hung up, the phone going click. Anastasia pulled the phone away from her ear and looked at it oddly. " Alright then..... " she thought, putting the phone pieces back on its hook. " guess i had better tidy up and put my stuff away. " thinking to herself, shoving her things in cupboards and wardrobes; also making both beds.

As I pushed the door open with my foot, (I was going out of the building :3) I had to hold my breath to resist the smell. What was wrong with me?! Hadn't I just eaten? Yes, and I was going to go insane. I sighed, and closed my eyes, thinking of nothing. Nothing but the slow heart beat. 'ka-thump, ka-thump' A smile was drawn to my lips. I could already taste it... "No" I thought. As much as I enjoyed it, there was no need to go on a frenzy...

A thought crossed my mind. "Right, first day of school, I need to get a schedule. " I headed to the front office. "There better not be any school uniforms..." I hated them. Always have, and always will. As I reached it, I couldn't help but notice the empty stares of the humans. Ugh, it was annoying. I didn't mind some, but still.

I turned around, my face grim. "Yes?" I said sharply, annoyed.

The girl jumped back a step, obviously surprised. "Uh-I uh.." I sighed, as her confident face brook down into a shy smile. I really didn't have time for this. "I-im Alexa" She said.

I stared at her for a moment, and turned to leave. I know, it was mean, but I was saving her life. If I was there a second longer, I would've snapped.

Arina walked the crowded halls of her new school. The bright yellow and blue walls would almost be blinding if she was looking at them through human eyes. All of the humans were talking to their friends, but stopped to watch Ari pass by. She started to hear them talking about her in whispers.

"Aren't there more people that look like she does?" a girl whispered into her friend's ear.

"Yes, you're right," her friend answered. "I've been seeing a few people around here like that."

Arina could feel a low growl in her throat. She hadn't eaten in a few days, and the thirst she felt was like a flame that had been shoved in her mouth.

Gabriel walked almost sliently through the overcrowded corridors, hands shoved in his pockets. He smiled to himself as he wondered how long it would take for someone to find the body he'd left in the alley.

He scowled as he heard the other kids whispering about him as he passed. He'd grown used to the stares he got but the whispering still annoyed him. He of ten felt tempted just to kill every one of them and just be done with it.

He ran a hand through his curly hair and changed his direction, deciding to head for the office and pick up his schedule. He entered the office and had to repress a grin at the receptionist's shocked expression at his appearance. His pale skin and dark red eyes often had that affect on people when they first saw him.

"I'm here to pick up my schedule" the vampire said in his slightly accented voice

"N...name" the lady at the desk stuttered

"Gabriel James"

He took the schedule held out by the receptionist and left the office, scanning the peice of paper with his eyes.

Arina held her breath as she made her way to the office. The lady at the reception desk was tanned with brown eyes and dark brown hair. She was staring at the door even before Ari had come in, as if she was in a trance.

Ari recognized this look; another vampire had been here not long ago. To make sure she was right, she smelled the air. It had a sweet, almost a honey-and-lilac smell to it; there was a vampire here only moments ago, if even that. She looked at the receptionist, who was just realizing Arina was there.

“H-How can I help you?” she asked.

“I’m here for my schedule,” Arina answered. Her eyes started to have a bright red tint around the edges, and the receptionist noticed right away.

“Y-Yes, of course. What is your name?” She started shaking, most likely because she was nervous.

“Arina Flare.” Ari couldn’t help but take in the woman’s scent; she smelled slightly of strawberries, probably from her lunch she had under her desk.

The woman shuffled through a stack of papers – which contained about a hundred or two different schedules – until she found the paper she was looking for. The nervous woman handed Arina the piece of paper and the vampire scanned over it after she left the office without saying a word.

“So, the first class that I have is biology…” Ari said to herself. She took out her cell phone and checked the time. “I have ten minutes before class, so that should be enough time for me…” She walked a little faster and stopped when she got to a darker hallway.

A couple of girls, both about 5’ with light brown hair, were laughing as they came closer to the corner Arina was standing. One of them kept going down the main hall while the other one went down the shadowed hallway. Arina followed after the young girl quietly as she waited for the perfect chance to strike.

“Excuse me,” Ari said, putting a hand on the girl’s shoulder. “I’m a little lost. Do you know where I can find the science building?”

The girl turned around and gasped as she saw the vampire’s bright crimson eyes. Before she could scream or even say anything, Ari sank her fangs into her tender neck. The girl struggled weakly as she was being held tightly, but got even weaker with each passing second as her lifeblood was being sucked out of her.

Arina dropped her bloodless prey after a few minutes. She wiped her mouth with her sleeve and started walking to her first class, leaving the poor girl lying on the cold floor.
