Kuro watched the humans boredly; there was nothing better to do. He noticed a few other vampires here as well. This place is a pretty popular place for vampires, He thought. Kuro smirked at how ironic this was. Humans thought that vampires couldn't go in the sun, for some reason, and there was... he tried counting how many but failed and gave up. A lot of us here in Hawaii, one of the sunniest places on Earth. Actually, it rained alot as well, but it was still really sunny when the sky was clear. He could see dark storm clouds looming on the horizon, promising rain.

After almost a half-hour, Winter decided that people would notice a 16-year-old girl suddenly disappearing. Her head broke the surface and she took a few easy breaths, glad to have her sense of smell again. She went on her back and floated, enjoying the water while she could. The lifeguards would kick everyone out of the water when it started raining, which wouldn't be very long. Well, she could always stay beneath the surface until everyone was gone, hidden from view. Winter saw a pair of cattl-- humans and tried not to smirk. Love at first sight. That won't last, the vampire cracked a rare smile, revealing her sharp, long fangs. Maybe I can find both of them together tonight, if I'm lucky. She thought, glancing over at the two of them.

"no, i don't live here" said kai running his hand through his hair. he glanced at his stuff then went over and put the skim board down on the sand next to his towel. they wouldnt need that anymore, for bit. he walked back and followedd her to her stuff. he shook his head trying to dry his hair but it wasnt working. once again he glanced around, looking for different eyes. it bugged him that there were vamps here. it was lik having someone go to an amazing place then tell them they'd have to like, pay money the whole time randomly to this one person.he noticed winter and tensed seeing her fangs.

Winter, seeing some guy noticing her fangs, ran her tounge over the sharp tips and winked at him, trying not to laugh. She stopped grinning and composed herself, but still daydreaming a little about her possible feast tonight. She put these thoughts to an end and looked back to the human, waiting for his reaction. The ghost of a smile was still playing across her lips.

Sierra brushed the sand that had been thrown by Jeremy off of her legs before getting up and making her way back towards the palm tree her brother was resting under. "What was that for?" She asked with an annoyed expression as she quickly threw her light brown hair up in a ponytail.

"Nothin' just bored" Jeremy said with a shrug laughing softly as Sierra turned and walked back towards the ocean. He looked at everyone else on the beach, studying their faces. He could easily tell which ones were vampires by how they looked and acted. He let out a soft chuckle as he caught a glimpse of another vampire, Winter, taunting a human.

Kai was still tense. he didnt want to be anywhere near a vamp. he smiled but his gaze was icy. she was enjoying this. he wasn't. he moved forward. "do you want something?" he asked his voice not so friendly, and pronunciating the you. he looked at sarah wondering if she knew what and if vamps even exist. -what a dumb question to ask...- he thought, -she obviously thinks of us as food- he debated whether or not adding tohis question, 'besides our blood' but he didn't know if he should risk it. better not if sarah doesn't know. she shouldn't know. that was the point but he wanted to say it. he instead just stood there clenching and unclenchin his fists. and staring off into space with his head directed towards the sand, thinking about his past with vamps and M16.

Sarah ran the towel through her hair, enjoying the sun on her back. Kai was talking to someone. Probably not important anyways. She turned around just to see, the result took her by surprise. A girl around Sarah's age was licking her lips, winking, and smirking afterwards.
Sarah smirked herself, guessing it was Kai's girlfriend or something. He wasn't being friendly to her though.

Winter shrugged and bit back a response such as, ''Just your blood,''. Instead she said, ''No, not really.'' She fidgeted a little when she saw that a few others were now watching them. Including vampires, telling by their crimson eyes. Winter switched her gaze back to the human and asked, ''What's your name, anyways?'' Seeing him give her a weird look, she quickly added, ''Just curious.''

"kai" he said. he glanced around and noticed more vamps. "brilliant" he muttered under his breath as he saw quite a few. what was this, like a vamp hotspot?- he thought. -well, for them its a buffet of people- he retorted back in his mind. he usually had arguments in his mind, depending on the situation. he looked down and shuffled his feet a bit. he was not feeling so good about this situation anymore. whatever made him feel safe before was totally gone now. he'd have to remember to tell sarah not to wander around at night, expecially here.

''My name's Winter.'' The vampiress didn't bother saying ''nice to meet you or something like that because it was likely circumstance that she would drink his blood if he would be unfortunate enough to run into her while she was hunting. And besides, it would be a shame to bite him, he was pretty nice for a human. Winter gave her head a slight shake to rid it of these forbidden thoughts, refusing to let them grow. That would only lead to heartbreak, blood, and tears. Like she needed any more of that.
