The myth about only pure young girls being immune to the unicorns is false. A unicorn will kill anyone they see fit, pure or otherwise. Hunters must be of a certain age though, because once you have become too old, if you have not gone through sufficient training, you will lose the ability to affect a unicorn. Only people 17 and under have an affect on unicorns, and can actually kill them - with the right weapons.
It takes skill, teamwork, and good tactics to succesfully hunt a unicorn. You will need each other; if the pack does not hunt together, some may not return...

Packs
Each pack has a unique skill.
Archery pack - members are the best at archery
Sword pack - members are the best at swordsmanship
Unicorn pack - members are the best at working with Allied unicorns (i.e. riding them into battle, ect.)
Ballistics pack - members are the best at gunmanship

Legions
Each legion has a unique skill.
Poison legion - members are the best on creating and distributing poisons
Brute legion - members are the best at using brute strength in fighting
Speed legion - members are the fastest individuals
Spy legion - members are the best at stealth, and gathering enemy intel

Hunter ranks available:
Don - Guardian of the young hunters ~ adult
Sub-Don - Don assistant ~ young adult
Trainer - Someone who trains the hunters in a specific hunting form ~ adult
Pack leader - Leader of the pack of hunters ~ hunter
2nd in command - Pack leader's right-hand man (or girl) ~ hunter
Scout - Someone who can run fast, see far, and report back on the situations ahead of the Pack ~ hunter
Spy - Someone very fast and stealthy.
Assasin - Someone of high level training, who can down a unicorn by themselves.
Chaser - The one who herds the unicorn towards the rest of the pack ~ hunter
Hunter - One who does the actual unicorn killing, with the help of teammates ~ hunter (obviously)
Evil unicorn ranks available:
Queen - The highest authority, even over the king.
King - The second highest authority.
Commander - One who is the main authority over the legions, beside the royalty.
General - One who organizes the legions, and are second in command to the Commander.
Swift - A spy, very fast, and very stealthy.
Aktra - An extremely dangerous assasin.
Fighter - One who is a part of a legion.
Allied unicorn ranks available:
Hunter - A unicorn who hunts along with the human hunters
Spy - One who goes in disguise as an Evil unicorn, but is really an Allied, gathering info
Scolar - A peacful unicorn who studies ancient scrolls and texts
Healer - A unicorn who uses it's powers to heal the hunters, and studies antidotes and medicine against the Evil unicorn's poisons.

How a pack works
Packs are made up of at least 5 hunters. There is a leader, sometimes a 2nd in command, at least one scout, and at least one chaser. The packs are like a family, and they share a dorm in the ancient monastery that the hunters live in. Every week they go on two or three hunts, and normally bring back one unicorn horn a week. They do not always actually get their prey, in fact it's not likely to actually kill a unicorn, especially for the newer packs. As they progress in their training though, the teamwork improves, and the trophies steadily grow more numerous. They are under the guard and care of a Don; the man or woman who has taken responsibility for all of the packs in the monastery, and provides what they need. Thr trainers have classes every day besides Saturday and the days the pack goes hunting. Saturday is a day for the hunters to relax and hang out, take a break from being hunters and just be teenagers for a while.
Allied Unicorns
There are a few unicorns who have joined the hunter's cause, and live within the monastery as well. They have their own quarters, but freely roam about, helping and training along with the hunters. They cannot speak human, but they have a language of their own, which the hunters are uniquely able to understand. They can also read and spell in many languages including their own, though it is extraordinarily difficult for a unicorn to write.

Fight back the evil unicorns! Train as hard as you can to become warriors. Find the evil king/queen and defeat him/her, then vanquish all evil unicorns, and restore the world to it's natural balance. The future of the world depends on your life - as corny as that may sound - so go carefully, and good hunting.
