Liyra nodded "After my mother and father hurt Soul I left." she shrugged and than sighed. "My name is Liyra by the way and yes the wind has called me." She answered in a confused tone. "Oh and this is soul my three year old wolf and an Irish wolf hound mix." She smiled at her best friend and than at her new friend.

Lazareth smiled again, "A pleasure to meet you both. I am Lazareth. Somewhere around here is my eagle and partner, Filir." He scanned the area and sighed, placing a hand on his sword's hilt. Filir, always running off. We shouldn't stick around much longer, God knows how long It'll be before I'm found out by them... he thought to himself, his expressing changing from a smile to a small frown. Jeez...he was glad he finally had to guts to run out, but still. He hadn't thought this through very carefully. He had a basic wilderness Survival knowledge, but nothing that would keep him alive long-term. He let out another small sigh, way to go Lazareth....way to go.

Liyra smiled. "Nice to meet you!" She let soul off his leash. "Do you know anything about nature?" she asked tilting her head like a dog.

Lazareth looked over at Liyra, "I know enough. I can make meals out of basic plants and meats. I know how to dry meat the way the Natives and cowboys did. I can make some basic medicines too. But nothing too outrageous." He chuckled softly. He lifted two fingers to his lips and blew out a sharp whistle, "Filir! Destiny Awaits!" He called out, raising his other hand up and snapping his fingers. Within seconds the silhouette of his giant bird could be seen looming over the horizon, casting a massive shadow over the ground.

Soul tilted his head and barked. Liyra pet him "Sush! use your indoor voice!" she commanded him. "Do you mind if Soul and I travel with you and Filir?" she asked politely

Lazareth looked over at Liyra again with a quirked brow, "Indoor voice? You do realize that we're outside right? Why deny an animal his right to shout?" He smiled soft and looked down at Soul, there was a fire in his eyes, a fire that Lazareth liked to see. Soul hadn't lost his drive, it looked stronger. His smile widened, "And yes. You can join us."

Liyra smiled and knelt down. "You hear that boy! We dont have to be alone!" she smiled and than looked back to Lazareth "I told him to be quiet because my mother knows his bark and she ought to be looking for me already."

Lazareth nodded, "I can understand that. I'm in the same situation. Come, we can't stay here much longer. Lets start to move on." He said and Filir hunkered down on his shoulder, bracing himself for the journey ahead...wherever that may lead them.
