Nikki froze, terrified, and just sat there, probably unable to run anyways because she was so tired. She widened her eyes as Misty leaped down from the bench, snarling, and stood in front of it, the fur down her spine standing up as she faced Aeko.

Nikki relaxed a bit and closed her eyes for a moment, then opened them again. "Well, that was scary." she said, starting to tremble slightly.
Misty growled deep in her throat then jumped up and sat next to Nikki.

Lazareth had started that day wonderfully. The usual argument with his folks, the usual trash talk from his step-father. The usual remarks from his mother. His siblings weren't any better either. He decided he was done with it all. That morning he got dressed, headed out to the backyard and whistled for his Avian companion, Filir. Filir was a rather common Species of eagle, and totally legal to be kept. Lazareth looked up over the forest in his yard and smiled as his eagle's shape came flying up over it and dove towards him. He held out his left arm, metal gauntlet shining in the sun, Filir's personal beacon. The giant bird landed on the gauntlet dead on, it's five foot wingspan slowly closing and his head turned to Lazareth's own. "C'mon bud. We're through here." He turned and began to walk off. It was then that he heard shouting and looked up, spotting two other people there. He slowly began to make his way in their direction.

Liyra sighed and Grabbed her favorite outfit her backpack, a flashlight,some dog treats,an extra dog collar and leash,an extar hoodie,and her CD player ands her favorite CD's before walking out of the house and puting Soul's collar on and putting his leash on. "Lets go Soul we aren't staying her any longer." She grumbled. Once she was far enough away from her house she got down on her knees. "Oh soul look what he did to you! Your hurt! Your going to have scars!" She sighed and unhooked his leash. "Lets go!" She said as she began to run. With soul by her side she left her home for good. Liyra soon saw a boy walking with what looked like a eagle and ran up to him. Soul eyed the bird. "No soul!" she whispered and clipped his leash back on. "Hi!" she said to the boy as she got closer.

Lazareth turned his Yellow eyes towards a girl now approaching him. Filir lifted his head and puffed out his chest regally. Lazareth shook his head, "Hi there. Seems a lot of people are out with their pets today." he shrugged. Filir flapped a wing impatiently, "Alright, alright...Go hunt Filir. I'll call you before I leave." The eagle took off. Lasareth ran a hand through his platinum-blond hair, "And how might I be of service?"

Liyra shrugged. "I kinda just ran away from home....I want a friend other than Soul." Soul looked up and whined.Liyra quickly added. "Not that hes not good enough its just he cant talk to me." she rubbed Souls head and sighed. "What are you doing out here?" She asked. "If its not to much to ask." she added quickly.

Lazareth gave a small shrug as he answered, "I'll gladly be your friend. And as for why I'm here...? The wind called me and I finally answered. Me and Filir are just wanderers now, well...as of earlier this morning." he chuckled. He definitely didn't dress like a normal teenager, he looked like something out of an anime or medieval fantasy story down to the sword strapped across his waist. He looked over at Liyra with a raised eyebrow, "And it seems you've heard the wind's call too. You left your home to find it, yes? A way to leave your home and past family behind?" He smiled. Yep, Lazareth was one odd ducky.
