Bathory burst out of her, or a, rather, front door after a harsh beating. " OK, OK! I GET IT! DON'T COME BACK! I was so close..." she said sadly, trying to catch her breath while leaning against a lamp-post.

Carter smiled at her. "Live like no ones watching. Laugh like no one can hear. Scare the life out of them by trying to fit in. It works better than you think." Carter looked at the man peering through his shop window. She smiled and giggled at him while she gave him a little wave. He frowned and pulled the curtains closed. Carter laughed. "See?" she asked.

Dakota laughed along with Carter at the man in the window. "That never gets old." she then said.

..::Shane::..

Shane smiled at Carter and how she'd waved to the man. This girl's pretty nice. One of the nicest one's I've met in a while. Besides Dakota of course. he then thought to himself.

Carter smiled at Dakota. "You got that right." she muttered, pushing her red hair out of her eyes. "So, how long have you two been traveling?" she asked them.

Dakota soon became tired of the one who was always talking. She elbowed Shane in the gut hoping he would talk.

Shane lunged backwards when Dakota elbowed him. "U-uh. I'd say about a year or so. I'm not really sure, you kinda loose track of time after a while." he quickly said hoping Dakota wouldn't do anything else.

Carter smiled, happy he said something. "I know what you mean." she told him with a warm smile. "Things seem to stop and little seems to matter..." she was lost in her train of thought.
