((Bahahah, no problemo. I lost track of time writing some songs and doing some music-related stuff :3))
Jack watched after his sister, waving after her. Part of him wondered why he let her go; she had to help out get the farm started, didn't she? He had to weed the fields, clearing it completely before planting crops to make a profit. Once they made a profit, then they could start to fill the animal sheds up even more. All they had was a cow at the moment; Rocky.
He started to make his way to the barn with his new dog, Spiker, trailing close behind his heels. Jill had always been persuasive; to be honest, he wasn't surprised at all that she convinced Takakura to allow them to keep both dogs. Upon entering the barn, he took some fodder from the dispenser, placing it into the troff and taking a milker out of his rucksack, filling up a decent sized bottle.
Quickly, he made his way to the shipping bin, and then headed out to the fields; he had a long day ahead of him; he doubted that he would be able to visit the valley today, leaving Memory Farm.
Marlin worked in the fields, as always. It was the same thing every day. He would wake up, eat something that Celia and/or Vesta cooked, and then head out to the fields. There he would water the crops, harvest any that were ready to be collected, and cut down any of the withering, dying plants. He wanted, secretly, of course, for something to happen in his life that would change it, but doubted that that would ever happen.
But when he heard another voice, that hidden desire had a potential of coming true. He looked down at a blonde girl; she was new to Forget-Me-Not Valley...Jill...that was her name. She was old Jack's daughter, and her and her brother had come to take over his farm after he passed. He wondered what she was doing here, talking to him of all people. Someone like Gustafa would be more fun to talk to, of course. "Hello," he said, curiously scrutinizing her.
((Yay, it's finally started! And do you have a list of other characters in the valley you'd like to play? Because I can make up a list and in a PM we can decide who's going to play which other character.))
