Gabriel walked away from the trees, making his wings disappear. He could smell angel blood, something he really didn’t want to encounter, so he walked the other way. He wished he could help the angel but if he went he might end up putting her in more danger than she was already in.

Reina took another shaky step forward, and then he somehow got control of himself. He leaned against the wall beside him and shuddered. His whole body hurt now, not the searing pain in his chest but a dull ach. He closed his eyes, knowing his vision was blurred. He felt his body go numb before his mind did; he gratefully slipped into unconsciousness and fell to the ground with a thud.

Nyte was a human in a past life and her sister Thalia (form below) seemed to get all the attention. When the twins were approached by an angel to become one of them, Nyte instinctively knew that they would choose Thalia, and as she knew, the angel chose Thalia. Although, neither of the twins, nor parents expected that days later, a demon would find and make Nyte a demon.

Thalia walked the streets, not quite tense but not quite relaxed. When outside safety zones, angels weren't expected to be relaxed. She reached down in her right boot and pulled out the angel dagger she kept in there and gently rubbed the edge of it.

Nyte leaned against the front of a billboard. The things were big enough, she figured she wouldn't be seen by passing angels, demons, or humans but she was often found here. Fingering one of the throwing stars on her belt she looked at the sky.

Lettora walked quietly in front of the other angel and helped her up, tense, keeping an eye on the demons. Both of them, slumped to the ground or not.
Zelena stood up, keeping her bleeding hand out of sight. 'This is too weird, to unusual,' she thought to herself. 'Demons don't just let prey go, even angels....' she looked back at the demon boy, slumped on the ground, and turned around.
"Are you crazy? Leave him!" Lettora mouthed, panic in her eyes.
"I can't just leave him!" Zelena retorted.
"Yes you can! He is a demon!"
Zelena paid no heed and walked quietly towards the boy. "Can you stand?" the sympathy she felt towards him was perhaps her weakness. She would help anything, dangerous or safe. Demon or angel.


Artemis walked slowly down the alley, trying to hurry to her cousin's apartment. She had a letter from her grandmother to Letty, even though both were not on speaking terms. She sighed, shook her head, and tripped, just barley catching herself.
