Gabriel sighed, staring up at the full moon. The autumn wind gently blew his hair around; he could smell demons on the wind. A different scent, one less prominent than the stank of demon, was an angel or two. He glanced around at the trees around him, hearing small movement. He’d fled the city only an hour ago for the fear of losing control of the irritating demon that thought he could steal Gabriel’s body. But it seemed that human’s like danger, since he could smell them in the woods now.

Reina gasped and sank to his knees, hunger searing his chest suddenly and violently. He clamped a hand over his mouth so that the humans in the street wouldn’t notice him in the ally. He wouldn’t be able to control himself if they did, and he didn’t want to hurt them.
He laid his head against the cold ground, trying to lessen the pain. Of course it didn’t work, the only thing that could lessen this pain was blood and he’d starved himself for this since he was turned 2 weeks ago.

Elijah raised his rifle, walking slowly. He smiled.

Gabriel sighed, exasperated and annoyed by both the humans and the revolting scent of their guns. He covered the nose and mouth with his hand muttering, “How disgusting.” He turned toward the scent of human, hoping they didn’t come this way. He didn’t want to force his wings away; it was constricting and annoying to do so.
He pulled a feather from one of his wings, turning it over in his fingers. He sighed, slightly depressed that his wings were now black rather than white; a sign of the demonic being that was sharing his body.

Zelena was walking quickly and quietly down the alleyway, the stench of demons almost overwhelming her. She gagged, shuddering, then continued walking slowly forward. She tripped and almost fell, wincing at the pain in her head. She had been getting these strange headaches... She stopped, staring at a boy. He had suddenly fallen to his knees. Even though she was frightened of being in alleyways, she walked quietly over to the boy, "Are you alright?" she asked, confused, and layed a hand on his shoulder.

Lettora watched out her open window at the street below her. She reached out and took hold of the think, overhanging tree branch, then swinging down and staring in surprise, a boy was sitting in the tree already... a boy with black wings...

Tagg walked pleasantly among the night public, smiling fondly. She had fed earlier the day before so the scent of blood did not draw her as it normally would. Human blood, at least. No, angel blood was what she wanted and she took a deep breath as if enjoying the pleasant night air but really, she tasted the air for angels. The moon was full and she was ready to hunt again, her veins throbbing with the angel blood that lent her extra strength and power. Once she reached the outskirts of the most public area of the city she slipped into the shadows, silent and dark as a spider waiting for her next prey.

Todd watched the new demon from the shadows further back in the alley, eyes gleaming as he waited. Why was the younger man pushing himself so hard to remain abstinent? Surely a lesser would have been dead by now from lack of nutrients. Sighing, Todd slipped from the shadows, kneeling several feet away so the demon could not lash out at him. “Resistance is futile.” He said with slight amusement, his voice quiet. “You will give in eventually. Or die.” Todd did not remember the first time he tasted blood but it sure as hell must have beaten other food because he had not gone back since.

Zelena backed away as a demon came out of the shadows. "Wh-who are--" she looked fearfully at the boy on the ground, then to the demon by the shadows. Zelena took a step backwards, tripping over her own feet and thudding to the ground, still trying to back up. Hopefully they couldn't tell she was an angel, how she wished they wouldn't smell it....
She looked down at her hands, she had landed on a small piece of glass and now her right hand was bleeding. She put it behind her back and stuttered, "M-m-my parents will be l-l-looking f-for m-me..." even though she had no parents....

Reina glared at the demon, he opened his mouth to ask him why he cared but the angel girl had gone and filled the air with her delicious blood scent. He winced and hugged one of his knees to his chest and dug his claws into his arms, but this didn’t stop her scent from making his mind foggy.
He stood up with awkward movements and took a step toward her.


Gabriel sighed, hearing movement in the opposite direction. He looked at the girl. He dropped the feather and stood up, staring down at her. He knew he shouldn’t have had his wings showing near the city but it was a pain to conceal them. He jumped to the ground below, landing on his feet without bending his knees. He cocked his head to the side and smelled the air, an angel.

Lettora watched the boy with black wings dive of the tree, just as the scent of angel blood mingled with demons overcame her. Hoping the angel was still okay, she swooped down as well, but stayed in the shadows.


Zelena backed up farther, the fear in her eyes growing. She kept sneaking away from the two demons, but it seemed that both were rather hungry, and angel blood as every demon knew was much, much more powerful than human blood. The deep gash in her hand was bleeding freely still, leaving little droplets on the ground.

Glancing up at the girl, Todd regarded her coolly. She smelled of angel. He himself had been demon long enough to control himself but a new and starving demon usually proved to be far more dangerous. “I advise you to leave.” He told her, cocking his head slightly in a way that looked rather bird-ish. He sure as hell was not about to stop the younger man who was desperately in need of blood. They needed more demons as they had been very low on them of late. Todd hated being the underdog.
