Demons are generally fowl creatures that walk the land of men, living off of pain, anger, fear, and hatred. They dance in the shadows, fearing light though it brings them no pain; only weakening their powers and hold over the human weakness. They feast on human blood and kill for the joy of killing.

Angels are generally creatures of light, they pity the demons but some go as far as to hate them. They bring happiness, joy, love, hope, and prosperity. Though the dark weakens their powers most have no fear of it.

The demons are growing in numbers, causing mass destruction and chaos. The angels have massed together to bring an end to a war that has been waging for all eternity. Both sides are beginning to spread their powers among humans, making the humans become demons or angels depending on their heart.

Humans can be changed into either of the beings. To be an angel the human must be basically a good person, and then they need an angelic weapon to pierce their heart. They die and are reborn, painlessly into an angel.
Any human can become a demon. They can be changed by one of either two ways, one a demon blade to the heart, or by drinking the demon’s blood. The strongest of the demons are made by drinking the demons blood but it usually causes them to go insane. The transformation is painful and takes on average a year.
Angel blood has the ability to heal wounds and cure any diseases. If a demon drinks an angels blood it increases their powers a bit and makes them immune to angelic weapons for a time, but angel blood is highly addictive because of its absurdly delicious taste.
Angel's can be turned into a demon, but most that have been turned commit suicide before they kill someone. Their stronger than a normal demon but also have a stronger bloodlust. Demons though cannot be changed into an angel for their soul is polluted.

*Please note: Humans don't die when they are changed into either an angel or a demon. Though they are stabbed in the heart it dosn't* *stop beating and their soul never leaves their body.*

Personality: The typical demon personality, what else? Needless to say, Todd's main passion is torture. He loves causing pain almost as much as he likes thinking up new ways to cause pain. Although he hates mind games, sometimes when he isn't in the mood for outright blood and guts he will try to mentally disgust his victims. He believes that he will never love and has no doubt that nobody will ever love him, much to his delight.
History: Todd has been a demon for as long as he can remember. Or as long as he cares to remember. Torture and pain are part of his life, his one and only passion.
Weapons: Whatever the hell he can get his hands on. It hast to either weigh a lot or be sharp and pointy, though. He hates to limit himself.

Gender: Female
Age: 18
Species: Demon
Personality: Tagg is absolutely freaking nuts. The phrase "She'll smile in your face and rip the breaks out your car" applies to her but more in a "She'll smile in your face and violently rip the arteries out of your neck" kind of way. That said, Tagg can be very pleasent. As long as you are not within reaching distance, of course. Sadistically cheerful, Tagg can seem like quite a nut sometimes, unpredictable and violent. All with a smile, of course.
History: While Tagg has no recollection of her past, others may know that she was pulled out of a special type of ward when in her early teens and given special powers. Now she runs alone, forming few companionships and leaving even less survivors.
Weapons: She prefers not to limit herself either. Normally, however, she has a switchblade. Assuming a machine gun isn't available at the moment, of course.

Personality: Very ignorant, caring, lovable, preyed on often by bullies, weak, tender, young... you get the point? Easy. Charming, pretty, fun. Is very UNDER-confident. She doesn't believe she CAN, she believes she CAN'T. Flirtatious occasionally. She's only 13 for Pete's sake. She always wears the cloak she has, making her seem even more un-confident. not great with scary/bad/stressing situations. Cries when stressed or scared, her bones are weak and they break easily, same with her skin.(Except instead of bones breaking, she bleeds a lot...((Thats how I am -_-) She has a faint English accent(which makes her seem fragile), which she got from her parents. Her eyes change color, and oddly enough, so does the weather occasionally...

History: She lives with her grandma, her parents died in a car crash 3 years ago.

Personality: spunky (oposite of everything Artemis is), more of the hero type. She rescues animals from pounds, finding new homes for them, shes pretty good with a dagger. Takes fenncing and always has a fencing sword with her. She looks really weak and helpless, but don't let her fool you. She loves to climb trees, and always has some kind of scrape on her somewhere. Letty is a great fighter, but has a secret fear of demons. She hasn't ever met one yet, but she knows what they can do.(since Artemis is her cousin, would Artemis have some strange mixture of human and angel blood?)
