Lilleigh sat on her front porch steps with thoughtful fingers tapping her chin. Few cars drove by her mom's two bedroom apartment in Chicago. "Wish I could live with dad," she muttered to herself.

Jake drove his covertable down the street. He tapped his fingers against the side of the car and bopped his head to the music.

Sighing, Lilleigh got up and began walking down the street. She kicked a rock in her path repeatedly until she kicked it into the grass on her left. Stopping, she watched as a boy drove his car down her road.

"Perv," Lilleigh muttered, and kept walking. She crossed her arms and kept her head down, hoping to lose the boy.

Lilleigh was silent for about thirty seconds. "Whaddya want, you creep?" she yelled, keeping her distance from the car. You never know what kind of weirdos live in Chicago.
