Plot
Basically there are two plots. Good and evil.
.:Good:.
The generic "stop the evil team from taking over the world." You start out as a new trainer and you are heading out on your own because your parents made you/to become a Pokemon Master/to "catch them all." You don't know that you are actually going to be involved in a plot to stop an evil organization from stealing Pokemon and taking over the world. Easy right? WRONG! These aren't the typically "goons" that all attack willy-nilly like. They are teens. Just. Like. You. They know how you think and are also motivated to get better and take you down. So get ready.
..
You are also a new trainer but with a dark secret, a prophecy if you will. A dark force, greater than anything you could ever imagine will destroy the entire region, then eventually the world. The only way to stop it have as many strong Pokemon as you can to attack the growing force. You know that battle seasoned trainer's Pokemon is way more powerful than freshly caught Wild Pokemon. But the problem is, no one believes your prophecy. So now you must steal them. You and only a few others that know of the prophecy, that have seen the problem, band together to make "Team Gaia." You are on a race against time to not only strengthen your own Pokemon team but you are also taking other trainer's Pokemon or converting them to your cause. If you fail, the world ends. No pressure right?
.:Rizzio:.
