"Mason." She said wondering why he stuck his hand out. When she finally registered what he said, Rayne qickly shook her head becoming very flustered. "I-I can't play! I-I have no idea what to do!" her cheeks became crimison as she spoke not wanting to embarrass herself infront of him even though their was no others in the gym. She knew that class was going to be starting soon and she didn't want anyone to walk in when she made a fool of herself. Looking around, Rayne actually spotted a girl off in a corner doing stretches. She really didn't want her to see her make a fool out of herself.

Blake chuckled slightly "Cmon it'll be fun, im not gonna play properly i never do, just lobbing the ball into the hoop" he smiled at Rayne trying to get her to come play "Please Rayne" he begged battering his eyelashes as a joke and smirking, his hand still held out.

:Rayne:

Rayne debated wheater to follow after him or not. She wasn't dressed since she wasn't even planning on participating in the class. "I-I guess..." She quickly stood up, avoiding his out stretched hand as if she hadn't seen it. "D-don't make fun of me..." She whispered as she made her way over to the hoop Blake had been at before. Rayne literally had no idea what to do as she turned back and waited for Blake, allowing her long black bangs to continue to hide her face.

Blake frowned slightly "Why would i make fun of you?" he asked following Rayne to the hoop and bouncing the ball slightly, then launching forward and throwing the ball into the net and watching come back again. "Right your turn, just remember to throw at the red circle and use your bodyweight and you should be fine, it doesnt matter if you miss" he said softly and quietly trying to boost the girls confidence.

:Rayne:

Rayne didn't answer his one question as she watched him bounce the ball then skillfully place it in the hoop once more. Even though it didn't seem possible, Rayne knew she was going to somehow screw up such an easy move. With a nod, the small girl grabbed the ball and did as he said. She ended up holding the basketball like a little kid and throwing it at hoop, knowing she missed throughthe slits between her bangs. Her cheeks reddened as the ball flew back at her and rolled all the way across the gym floor. Rayne honestly hoped that the girl stretching hadn't watched her mess up.

Blake frowned slightly, but it faded as she threw the ball at the hoop. He watched it fly back across the gym "Well you have a really good power throw..." he chuckled "But that was a really good throw, most people struggle to actually throw it to the hoop on their first go" he said politely, beaming at her and running to grab the ball, his hi-top trainers squeaked as he slid to a stop before the ball. He walked back to Rayne "Maybe if you move your hair out the way, youll have better accuracy, but its up to you" he suggested handing her the ball again.

:Rayne:

Rayne held the ball between her hands, looking at it from under her bangs. She stood there in silence not sure what she should do. SShe had always hiden her eyes, for many reasons, but the very first reason was because of theblack and blue marks that had always seemed to cover them. Even though that was long ago she had always thought of them as a barrier between her and everyone, a wall that no one could break. But slowly, Rayne seemed to be breaking it, showing her inner side to the people she had met. "Ye-yeah..." placing the ball at her feet, Rayne used the rubber band that always seemed to be hidden on her covered wrists and pulled back the front part of her hair into a half pny-tail. As she picked the ball back up and looked at Blake, she became slightly self-concious, as if she was standing in front of him in only her underwear. "I-I'll try once more." She stated as she stepped closer to the hoop once more. With a deep breathe, Rayne throw the ball up as it hit the back baord then rolled around the inner rim before finally sliding into the net. A huge grin broke out on her exposed face as she finally made it in.

Blake watched Rayne intently as she revealed her face, his smile turned into a nervous grin as he noticed how beautiful she was. He'd never met anyone quite like her before, looks and personality wise. As she threw a second time Blake almost jumped in the air with excitement as the ball fell threw the hoop "Rayne! Your brilliant!" he shouted "That was such a good throw, even i envy you!" he added the excitement growing in his voice, as he looked down at her he noticed her grin and smiled warmly back at her.

:Rayne:

Rayne gave a nervous laugh as he apporached her. "N-not really... I-I only repeated what you did..." She gave a small smileas she stuck a stray strand of black hair behind her ear, completely opposite than what she would of done. "B-but thanks..." She gave a swift nod before walking after the run away ball, completely embarrassed that she let such a trivial thing make her so happy... but it was the first time she had ever done something by herself successfully, well besides writing.

Blake smirked "Well then i have taught you well...somehow" he laughed, and then went into an awkward silence "You know you should keep our hair back more often, suits you" he added, blushing slightly, he sounded so stupid.
