*My Secrets to Keep* ~Accepting~

Serra's little brother stopped her in front of the door. He reminded her that she needed to eat a lot if she was going to fly at all, because it used up a lot of her energy. Plus, it was her day to do dishes. She rolled her eyes at his last comment on the dishes and walked back into the house.

Kira began to eat the toast at the the table in the kitchen, she flinched when one of the younger girls brushed past her, the girl looked at her weirdly then carried on walking. Kira looked at the world around her, she was sick of the same walls, same people. she'd been here way too long now.

Serra sat on the kitchen counter, eating a stack of six pancakes and a big glass of chocolate milk. when her aunt came over for thanksgiving, she had asked how Serra could eat so much without getting fat. "its a special exersize i do" Serra had said. She laughed at the memory, and her brother walked up to her with his handheld game. he looked at her with pleading eyes. she knew what he wanted. She took it and started playing. after about two minutes, she handed it back to him, and began eating. he ran back to the living room, yelling "Look mom! look what I did!" She glared at him, then went back to eating her pancakes.

"im going out!" Kira shouted after she'd finished eating, without waiting for a reply she walked straight to the front door and out into the quiet street, she looked at the street and chose to go left today

Serra watched her brother come back into the kitchen. he tripped over the small pet cat, and fell on his face. "Fail!" she giggled. her brother started to get mad, but he quickly changed his mind. His sister was actually smiling. a real smile. he hadn't seen her smile for real since they moved and her father dissapeared. She jumped off of the counter and put the plate in the sink. she started to run some hot water in the sink to do dishes.

Kira walked down the road, she didnt know where she was going, didnt care either. she turned right at the next opportunity, walking down the new street you looked at all the large pretty house thinking to herself, i want to live there. sighing she looked at how there was no gum stuck to the side walk and no grafiti on any walls, she liked this street.

Serra had finished the dishes and dried her hands. she called her goodbyes to her mom and brother and walked out the front door. the sun shone down on her, making her hair shine. If i had my wings out, i would really look like an angel today, she thought to herself. the thought of sunning her wings itched in her mind, and she thought about a private sunny place where no one would be so she could sun her wings. a fuzzy feeling tickled her leg, breaking her out of her thoughts. She looked down and saw another one of the household cats rubbing against her leg. she smiled and picked him up.

Kira carride on walking down the street, checking out each house individually, she was about to stop at another one but noticed there was somone stood outside she didnt want to stare so stopped for a second then carried on walking

Serra put the cat down. she looked around and saw someone walking down the street. she was about to wave, but decided that it probably wasn't a wise thing to do. she walked off the front porch and laughed as the small cat tried to follow, but tripped over its own feet. it reminded her of her brother. Lately the only thing that had been making her smile and could get close to her was her cats.

Kira tried not to but she couldnt help but look back at the girl, she had been incredibly beatiful, as if she were sent from heaven its self. so she looked round.
