Jaden shrugged, and laughed. "The house is dirt dry of food. Thought, well, might as well get some." He said, lightly pushing her back. He grabbed a handheld basket, and shoved random things that looked good in the basket.

Alex stiffened when he got the message, slowly sliding the envelope out of his pocket. He stared at it, then slid his finger underneath the seal, breaking it.

Mika shook her head slowly. "That is no good. You need things that will last not just junk." She said as she showed him how to buy food. She grabbed fruit and chocolate as well as bread and a few other things. She was not going to let anyone starve in her household. She bit her lower lip as she looked at Jaden. She shook her head slowly. "What do you think when you see feeders?" She asked softly. She continued to pick out food as they walked along the store.

She has always wanted kids, a husband, when she gets older and hopes to find her true one soon, but she knows heartbreaks are on their way to her before she could find her true one. Jaden watched her carefully pick out the foods. "I guess I see food, unfortunately. But I've never really talked to one, not really get to know them." He said. "We've grown up with them as food."

Alex stuffed the envelope back in his pocket. He wasn't ready to see them, not yet. He got up, not bothering with the dizziness.
