Emma frowned, sweeping along the corners of the stuffy kitchen palace. She was set for cleaning duty until the next thristy vampire came in, demanding what they needed to survive. She rolled her eyes at the thought, but actually didn't mind the bite. It was the dizziness from loss of blood after wards that she didn't like.

Alexander flipped his hair out of his eyes, as he sat in the Azlera garden. The only thing he appreciated about being forced to be a feeder in a vampire community, was that they got free times just like any other worker. They were free to come and go as they pleased, as long as they didn't leave the Kingdom's walls. He neck throbbed, he just had a recent feeding.

Aaliyah smiled as she skipped along the Myrtle roads, her Hot Topic dress catching around her knees. Her knee-high hightops slapped the pavement as she jumped. She was headed home, for her work shift just ended. She had the night shift, and she was tired.

Jaden ran his fingers through his hair. waking up from a horrid dream. He remembered his family dying many years ago. Jaden shook off the dream, and got dressed. He pulled on a pair of khaki's, and a red T-shirt.

Mika awoke a few minutes later well rested and pulled on the strapless dress along with a black sweater and her black tennis shoes. She didn't know why Jonah wanted her to be dressy all the time. She bit her lower lip as she walked down the hall. "MIKA!" JOnah called in a stern yet loving voice. Mika looked at him and tilted her head. "What?" Mika was used to being told things she didn't like. "Make up and fix your hair. Why do you insist on wearing sweaters in the middle of summer?" Mika looked down as she was yelled at. "Because I don't like the marks." She said softly. "You want me to show them but I don't like it." She had been marked by their maker for nto following rules years before Jonah killed him for doing such a thing. Mika looked down. JOnah sighed softly. "No one remembers what they mean, anymore." "It doesn't matter. I don't feel good, can I go get soemthign to eat?" "Yes but be quick, we have work to do."

Mika walked outside and went over to Alex. "I don't know why he expects me to be perfect. He acts like it's still a crime for a girl to not wear make up." She licked her lips before seeing the bite marks. "I'm also thirsty." She said sadly. She had demanded for at least one of the males to be her personal feeder but no one was respecting that. It made her angry.

Alexander rolled his eyes. "It is what it is, Princess Mika." He said, with a sigh. He adressed her by her title, as all the feeders were informed to do.
Alex hated this partof being a feeder, that virtually any vampire could approach any feeder and demand a feeding. He stood up, a little taller than Mika, but he bent down slightly, and tilted his neck.

Mika knew the rules about feeding from a feeder who had been feed from that day but as she looked around she saw no one who would tell. She kissed his neck gently before biting into his neck. She wrapped her arms around him gently and feed slowly. She wouldn't take much just enough to make her fangs stop hurting for a bit. When they did she pulled back and leaned into him. She was probably the weakest one of the vampires here. "I'm sorry I just broke a rule. I might get a mark when they find out. Alex was the only one who had seen Mika's marks other than Jonah and that had been by accident.

Alex winced, and rubbed his neck where the bite marks were. "It's okay. I won't tell, Princess Mika." He said, straightnening up. "No one would believe a feeder anyhow." He muttered. It was his say against a Azlera princesses, and they would much rather think their princess was innocent than believe him.

Mika slid something into his back pocket and looked up at him. "Only look there when no one else is looking." She demanded. She walked away slowly before looking over her shoulder. "I may think little of most humans but some...." She smiled sweetly. "Are worth the risk." Mika walked back into her room and curled her hair before putting on a little bit of make up. "Jonah, I'm going to the village for some food for the feeders." She said as if none of them were worth her time. She hid the fact that something about Alex got to her. Maybe she could recognize herself in his eyes. She would give him a choice if she decided to change him but it would be his choice. Mika left the castle through the garden. "I'll be back shortly." She assured Alex.

Alex sat back down on the stone bench, dizziness overcoming his stability. A headache pounded against his skull, insulting him for taking two feedings in one day. He propped his elbow up on his knee, and laid his head in his hand.

Jaden left his house, finally breaking the habit of calling, 'I'm leaving!' every time he left. He pulled on a hat on his way out the door, double checking the lock.
Not that any vampire that was bored enough to break into his house couldn't break the lock. Shifting his hat a little sideways, he walked along the sidewalk.

Mika headed towards the store as her hair fell into her eyes. She bit her lower lip before texting Alex about what food he would eat. She hated it but she'd put the envelop in the same pocket as his phone. She had given him the phone after he'd seen the marks. She looked up at the sky. She smiled sweetly and reached a hand up as if she could touch it as she waited on the answer. Yes, most humans weren't worth her time but something about him made him special. She turned and jumped seeing Jaden. "Oh, Hi."

Alex touched his back pocket, wondering what was in the envelope. The phone started vibrating, and he picked it up. It was a message from Mika.
Chocolate and fruit. Helps the blood. He texted her.

Jaden nodded, and gave a half-smile to Mika. "Morning, princess." He said, walking into the store with her. "Getting food for the feeders? Isn't that a slaves job?"

Mika looked Jaden over slowly and rolled her eyes. She grabbed a basket as she got the message. "Are you saying I shouldn't feed them? Besides they are all busy working." She pushed him gently, playfully. "So what are you doing here?" She tilted her head and didn't so much as look innocent as the hair fell from her neck.She waited for his response. She texted Alex to look at the pictures int he envelope. "That's your family." She texted. She'd kept them safe and hidden.
