"No clubs? Well, are we allowed to make them?" Griffin felt that no school, even if this was a black hole cloaked as a school, could function without any clubs for students to attend. "Maybe we can bring it up to the schools... rulers... people." He was scraping for words, as he didn't know if the school had a principal or not. "With clubs, it could bring the students together and possibly make them a better person. They could act differently and change their ways."
Shrugging, he knew his idea would never get through and be approved. Still, there was some hope. "Therapy? Is it mandatory?" Grif sure hoped not. He didn't need therapy! He was a bright kid with a good head on his shoulders. He was just influenced. He didn't need therapy; It'd never change him. I'm still the same person I was two years ago! Fury ran through him, but he soon had to soothe himself. Maybe he didn't have to go to therapy after all.

She got up and pulled her chair back up before sitting back down. She looked at Griffin smiling softly. "Clubs? No I haven't been any, I was...busy... Messing with kids in my school. Pranking them." She ran her hands through her hair once again her heart pounding as she thinks. She stares at the wall for a couple of seconds before turning her delicate eletric blue eyes back to Griffin, he was cute, along with Ruben. Her eyes swifter to Ruben, then back to Griffin. Hmm... I wonder who I seem to like better.. She thought as she watched Griffin till having a small smile on her face.. Maybe she would like this looney tone play a little bit after all.

Ruben

"Well, you could certainly bring it up with the principal or whatever. Unforunantly I think the whole therapy thing is manditory." Ruben said, "You bring up a good point about the clubs. The question remains though if there are enough kids who aren't distructive and crazy and wouldn't take total advantage of it to convince the guards. That could be difficult since we don't really have a voice in here." he said.
He ran his hand through his redish hair and looked around the cafiteria, bored.

Carmen

Carmen walked over to where Ruben was hanging out. She smirked. "It's not exactly a school, more like a prison. And Griffin," She added, "Even if you were influenced... well, that's what they all say here. And of course therapy's mandatory." She smirked again and flipped her hair over her shoulder. If she wasn't going to be nice, she figured, than at least she could be prissy. Or bad. Or both. Definitely both.

She eyed the two boys, but didn't find either of them particularly attractive. Well, Ruben was... though not as much as Ollyver. She slouched against one wall, drawing her knees to her chest. The stupid white JCC t-shirt was itchy. She shrugged her shoulders in an effort to make it not itch as much. She felt the knife in her boot and was relieved to feel it still there.

Ruben looked at Carmen and then back at Griffin,
"Well, I think that answers that question. It's a good idea, but they probably won't listen." he said, "Prisons are generally against the inmates having fun."
He chuckled at looked back at Carmen,
"I'm Ruben, and you are-?" he asked.
She looked like she'd been here longer than him, but looks could be deciving. For all he knew she was as new as he was, just more in the know. He was a bit embarassed about the club thing, of course the guards wouldn't approve of it. Why had he gone along with it in the first place?

Aware of Jenna's eyes on him, Griffin's skin pricked. He shrugged it off, and focused on Ruben as he spoke. "Bringing it up would just be a waste of time." He felt foolish for thinking that the school would do something like that. He heard the footsteps of someone approaching and turning around, he saw a girl. He blinked as she said his name. "Er, how do you know my name?" He had never met her, and if he had before he came here, he felt bad. "And what do you mean I was influenced?" His voice shook. Can she read minds? Maybe he had accindently said it out loud, but even if he had, how would she hear?
As the girl said the word therapy, Grif's skin stood on end. Mandatory? His heart dropped. "Man, I don't want to go to therapy." He admitted to himself that he was scared to go. What would they say? What would they make him do? He didn't want to talk about his past and remember.

She looks at the girl her hair falling away from her neck where a long pink scar layed. Her went from her jaw bone done to her shoulder blade, it was almost impossible to have survived it, but she did get through it. "Hey." She said in her sweet british accent. She looks back at Griffin sighin silently to her self. She leaned back her feet proper up agains the side of the table to keep her balance on two legs of the chair she sat in.

Carmen

Carmen glanced back at Ruben. "I'm Carmen," She said, her eyes blazing. She didn't like names; especially in a place like this. Where your name could hurt you. She flashed Ruben her warning look mixed with her 'd@mn you're hot' look.

Ruben looked at Carmen with a mildly interested expression. A smile played on his lips.
"Carmen, that's a nice name. Sounds dangerous, but still approchable."
The wink was so descreet you wouldn't have caught it unless you were very observant. It blended in with his normal blinking pattern, but it was there. He liked this girl. She looked like she wasn't afraid to break a bone, but she wasn't the kind of girl who was trying to intimidate everyone all at once all the time. Not like Jenna. Ruben still wasn't sure she wasn't acting. Carmen was also pretty, an added bonus that Ruben couldn't deny he liked. He could see her giving him the evil eye though.
So tone down the flirting to a subtle wink and clever words here and there, and I'd say I can get her to not hate me at the very least. he thought.

She smiled. "Thanks." It was the first genuine smile she had given anyone since she had gotten to this wretched place, and it felt good.

Ruben seemed a little wary of her, but she didn't want him to be afraid. The other girl - Jenna - seemed to be acting slightly. A fake. And if there was one thing Carmen hated, it was a fake. She couldn't believe Jenna was trying to win Ruben like this. Carmen crossed her arms and sat down against the wall next to Ruben. She kept her gaze on his face earnestly, but still a little cautiously.
