"Coming mom!" Taylor called up, racing into the house, going to the sink, washing her hands.

Ryder charged in after her. "come Tommy!" Ryder called to the dog. Tommy scampered in and Ryder shut the door. He went to the sink and washed his hands after Taylor.

Taylor laughed, splashing Ryder with water.

"hey!" Ryder said. He splashed her back. Ryder dried off his hands and sat at the table. "so how was your day kids? Anything exciting happen?" their father asked.

Taylor wiped her hands off at the table before sitting at the table. "Mine was good, nothing new happened though" she said with a shrug.

Ryder nodded. "we figured a name for the pup you gave me!" Ryder said happily. "yeah? And what would that be?" he asked interested. "Tommy." Ryder said. Tommy perked up his ears. "not you Tommy!" Ryder giggled. Their mom put down the dinner on the table. Spagetti and meatballs.

Taylor smiled, thanking her mom before taking a bite.

Ryder scarfed down his food. The sauce was splattered on his face. Ryder cleaned his plate in under 5 minutes and got up from the table. He washed his dish and placed it I the dishwasher. "Ryder." their mom called. "yeah?" he asked as he was already heading upstairs. "don't you want to talk more?" "yeah mom! Hold on!" Ryder called. He ran into Taylor and his room. Ryder reached under his bed and took out a present. He ran downstairs as their parents started singing "happy birthday" to Taylor. Their mom brought out a cake and Ryder gave Taylor his present.

Taylor smiled, seeing Ryder had a present for her. She had a large smile on her face.
