Lianna watched Ryder leave. "He's hard to get. He confuses me often." she said to no one, turning her attention back to Ilanna. She vaguely heard the words, "Daddy lived over there." and she sighed. "Another Halflander. Great." she muttered, walking over towards the Great Crack.

Ilanna was so confused. "But its not...how...?" she said, suffering from loss of words. She looked up to see the figure who waved at her, start to walk over.

ryder went to his house quickly and grabbed a couple items. he moved to the cliff with the wolf right behind him. he took a rope and tied it arond the wolves neck. he knew who's wolf this was.......the rogues....... ryder paced back and forth by the cliff side.

Leah looked at Lianna, "I wonder who that is?"

Layla chuckled but followed Lianna and saw the other girl.

ryder waited for a long while. he was starting to grow impatient. he shook his head and pushed his hair from his face.

Rhen continued throught the field until she reached the Great Crack. When she got there, she noticed a wolf tied up. She didn't see the other Darklander until it was too late. "Oh...hi." she said to the man when he saw her. She had taken out her ponytail, so her hair flowed out behind her, making her look somewhat heroic. She looked at the wolf, wondering if it would say anything. She could, after all, talk to animals. Then she looked back at the man, ready to shift into a strong animal if he decided to attack.

"hello" ryder replied. he saw her looking at the wolf. "ummm......can i help you?"

Rhen nodded, "Yes, you can." she replied calmly, "Let that wolf go." she locked eyes with him, daring him to refuse.

"you don't understand. This wolf is property of the rogue. I can't just let him go." Ryder said defiently.

Rhen strode forward, pushing past the man to the wolf. She undid the rope from his neck, Where is your master? she asked it. Looking it in the eyes, she asked it this through her mind. If she had shifted to wolf form she'd be able to talk to it with her mouth instead of her head, but for now this would have to do.

The wolf looked into her eyes. His eyes were dark and devious. He didn't answer.
