Sage glanced at Sarah and walked over to her, sitting next to her. "Hey, you're important too." He whispered into her ear so only she could hear. He rolled his eyes at Seth. "Don't you think it'd be a bit weird if there were different birds hanging together? Suspicious maybe?"

Lilly frowned at Sage. "Bird morphs are a great idea." She said forcefully.

Rachel frowned. "Sage is right, it is going to look suspicious but its our best shot at spying on them." she said.

Sarah looked at him. <And what can I do that the team possibly needs? I'm just a dog, I cant morph, I cant spy, I cant fight.> she said sadly in private thought speak to Sage.

Pip walked throught th forest. She knew that there were morphers that called them selves the Animorphs nearby. It was her last shot at redeaming herself. <Animorphs, show yourselves." she said loudly and clearly in public thought speak.

Lilly walked towards the voice, and frowned. "Isn't that rude? Calling us that? I mean, really." She said to her in a annoyed tone. She crossed her arms and looked at her.

Sage smiled. <Nobody move.> He said in thought speak to everybody apart from Lilly. <Let the voice think Lilly's the only one.> He said before glancing at Sarah sadly.

Rachel spook her head. "Lilly stop! Thats an andalite. Show no disrespect." she said quickly and hurried to Lilly's side. "Forgive us Andalite. We ment no disrespect." she said and bowed her head slightly. "You are the first Andalite the new animorphs have met." she said.

Sarah froze. Rachel had told her much about them. They were kind, smart and quicker than any earth creature. The anadlite could kill all the animorphs here with one swipe of her tail blade. Sarah pulled Sage on the sleeve to try pull him away from it.

Pip nodded. <You are forgiven.> she said in thought speak. She looked over the small group, 3 animorphs and 2 nothits. How interesting.

Sage quickly phased to a tiger and walked towards the andalite with wary eyes. He stood by Lilly, agreeing with the thoughts she was telling him. <It's so.. big.> He thought to Lilly.

Lilly raised a eyebrow. "Oh... okay. That explains it. Sorry." She chirped the last part, but muttered the rest to herself. Lilly nodded to Sage and glanced at it. It was so interesting.

Rachel bowed again. "How can we help you Andalite?" she said and looked up at it.

Sarah hung back from the others. She looked aroudn fot Seth but couldnt see him anywhere. She whimpered slightly but didnt go loo for him.

Pip's ears flickered forward, an andalite way of smiling. "I am here to help you." she said and kneeled low. Her eye stalks looked at Lilly and Sage and to Sarah with interest.

Sage lay in front of Lilly, watching it. He didn't trust it, and knew Lilly agreed with him. He glanced at Sarah. <You okay?> He asked her, privately.

Lilly sighed. The eyes are so freaky, she thought. "Uh..." She said as it kneeled. She didn't think of it as a living thinking thing, only a thing.

<I'm fine. I just think that you guys shuld maybe draw back a bit. She can kill you with a lazy flick of her tail. Be careful!> she said shakily in private thought speak to him.

Rachel smiled happily. <Guys, relax. She will defend you with her life now.> she said to them. "Thank you, we are going to attack a Yeerk pool within the next few days." she said bringing her up to speed.

Pip morphed smoothly into a human. She had been doing it well and it was an art form to her.First her stalks shrank and dissapeared and then her fur pulled into her body leaving smooth skin behind. Quickly the rest of her changed till she stood before them as a short five year old in pigg tails with a sweet smile. She had chosen this form because she didnt want to threaten them. It saddened her that the others didnt trust ehr. It was only Rachel who had welcomed her.

Lilly kneeled down to Sage. <She can't hurt us now> She thought over to Sage and Sarah before standing back up. She still didn't trust her, even in this form.

Sage nodded as he phased back. He stood up, next to Sarah. "May I ask your name?" He asked the girl.
