Layla looked up sadly, she padded away before turning into a little girl. She picked up her puppy and looked around for somewhere to sleep.

She watched Layla and tilted her head. Then she two shifted human. Using a hair tie to tie her hair into a lopsided bun.

Layla looked back at the lady, slightly worried. "I can't find my mommy or daddy..."

Devin::
"Ummm..." Devin mumbled. She was generally a nice person, but she didnt know really how to handle a situation like this, as she was not very social before she met Anthony. "Well... I can help you?" She offered, not sure if she could find this girl's parent without exposing species like her.

Layla shrugged, "A strange man said he needed to talk to my mommy and daddy, he lied though. They never came back..."

Uhh..." She muttered. "Well then you should stay with us. Are you a shape-shifter? Like me?"

Layla nodded, "Yes. I'm Layla." she said and held her puppy, "This is Cassie."

"Oh, ok then." She nodded. "I'm Devin," she said crouching to her eye level.
