• Like We Used to • (onexone with Hikaru)

A big part of her wanted to believe him, but there was another part where she doubts him. But at the moment, she believed him.

"W-we should get some rest, I'll sleep on the other couch, there's a blanket and pillow right there." she said then thunder rolled again, Kimiko screamed and covered her ears. Then she opened her eyes and looked at Kenji embarrassed.

"S-Sorry, I'll go sleep there...." she said pointing at the couch beside his. Then she got up and walked over to it.

Kenji slipped off the couch, and began to search the ground with his hands until he found the blankets and pillows. He tugged them to the couch, handing some to Kimiko. He flinched once she screamed. "Put the headphones back on if it helps." He said quietly, making himself comfortable on the couch. His eyes closed, but he was still anxious to keep talking to Kimiko.

"Won't you need it?" she asked him sitting down on the couh while she pulls the blanket to her lap and braids her hair. It was a little messy and it would be embarrassing if he saw her messy hair in the morning. She put the pillow behind her and laid down on it as she slowly fell asleep. Moments later, she was fast asleep and she snored quietly and cutely.

Kenji shook his head. "No; Not anytime soon, at least." He replied, tucking the blanket close to him. He turned his back from the window to prevent waking up from the light. He dug his face deep in the pillow, letting out a yawn. "Thanks for forgiving me." He added, although he'd only asumed she forgave him.

Kimiko slowly woke up and it was still raining but the light showed brightly through the opened curtains. She got up and closed the curtains so that Kenji won't wake up from them. Then she wonders what he wants to eat for breakfast.

She heads to the kitchen and looks around. She remembered how he liked chocolate chip pancakes. Kimiko began to make the batter for pancakes and added some chocolate chips and began to fry some. She placed them on a plate and rested it on the table. Kimiko picked up another plate but a thunder rolled and she drops the plate and breaks it as she covers her ears. The thunder passed and Kimiko knelt on the ground. She picked up the pieces of the broken plate and accidentally cuts herself.

"Ouch...." she whispered as her finger began to bleed.

Kenji stirred as he heard her move. He stayed asleep until the sme of pancakes wafted under his nose. He rubbe his eyes as he stood. Kenji made his way to the kitchen, his eyes widening at her wound. "I'll get the others." He said, leaning down and picking up the remaining pieces of the plate. He glanced at them, before tossing them in the trash. It'd be no use to glue it together. Kenji looked at her finger with a smirk. "You should only need a band-aid."

Kimiko nodded and sucked on the blood, it continued to bleed as her eyes widen and she sucked on it again. Then she got up and looked for some band aid. One was in the drawer so she took it and placed it on her finger.

"Go on and eat. I hope you like it." she smiled and took another plate and placed I on the table. She got the maple syrup and placed it beaide the pancakes.

"Want to drink anything?" she took two glasses and put some ice in it. She filled her cup with strawberry milk while she waited for his response.

Kenji took a seat at the table. He applied syrup on his pancakes before cutting them with his knife. "Water, please." Kenji responded, taking a bite of the pancakes. "Yum." He complimented, taking another bite. He smiled widely. Kenji stretched himself. "You've done it again, Kimiko."

"Thanks." she replied pouring some water in the glass and handing itto him. She sat down across from him and drank her strawberry milk. Then she blushed at the thought of him kissing her. She turned her head to the side to try and cover her blushing cheeks. It was embarrassing to remember, but how could she forget about it? Her eyes scanned the room trying no to get too nervous

Kenji smiled, gulping down the cup of water within a few seconds. He took another bite of his pancakes, before propping his cheek against his palm. His gaze drifted to Kimiko, and he spotted her blush. At first, he thought it was a trick of the light. He blushed also, keeping his eyes on the ground.
