Kimiko ignored his comment thinking he was mocking her. She continued to recite Juliet's words. "yeah, then they kiss....and that's it." she smiled and closed the book.

[Hikaru Kurosaki]

Kenji nodded, scanning the pages one last time. "Cool..." He said, leaning back in his desk. "Why are we reading Romeo and Juliet anyways?" He asked, drumming his fingers together. "I think that is their parents respected them enough, they'd let them be together."

"I don't know, but Juliet's stupid for falling in love with him...." she said while hiding behind the book. When she said that, she wasn't really referring to Juliet, but more to herself. It was completely stupid of her to fall for someone who doesn't even love her back. But hopefully, Kenji doesn't catch on to what she really meant. Her eyes fell to the ground as she dropped the book.

Then the lunch bell rang, almost everyone got up and ran out of class. But Kimiko stayed. She wanted to get her things fi usher, but her stomach growled. She hasn't eaten since yesterday morning. But she ignored it and continued to write down on her notebook, looking at the book once in a while.

Kenji frowned. "You make it sound as if you hate the idea of love in general." He said, crossing his arms. "I think Romeo should've been more careful at who he fancied." He smirked, rolling his eyes. He looked towards Kimiko. "You wanna eat lunch with me?" Kenji asked, leaning against her desk. "Please?"

"Well, I thought you said Romeo should watch who he fancied." she pushed his face gently away from her desk as she continues to finish some work. "Maybe Romeo should go and fancy Ruki." she said clenching her teeth. She picked up her book and notebook and got up from her chair and walked towards the door of the classroom.

Kenji dug his hands in his pockets and walked to the classroom entrance. He gulped. "Then what if Romeo fancies Juliet?" He questioned, frowning. He felt his cheeks flame up, but he seemed not to be bothered by it. He waited for her reply anxiously.

"Juliet knows he doesn't..." she turned around and looked at him with her sad brown eyes. He was only playing with her again and she didnt want to be hurt anymore. Kimiko closed her eyes and turned her head away. Then she covered her ears not wanting to hear his lies anymore.

Kenji felt hurt by her words, and he wanted to speak to her, but knew she wouldn't hear. His jaw grew tight, so he touched her cheek, knowing he'd have to get her attention. He leaned down, and kissed her softly. He left the room shortly after, and began to walk down the hallway to the lunchroom.

Kimiko slowly looked up when he placed his hand on her cheek. Her eyes grew wider when he leaned in a kissed her. Her knees fell weak as she falls down and he left. She caressed her lips, still shocked. Her eyes haven't blink whir her mind went blank. Her cheeks were red and she finally blink. Then she got up and chased after Kenji before he reached the lunch room.

He took him by the hand and pulled him a little and turned him around. She tip toed and kissed him with her eyes closed, then she slowly pulled away and opened her eyes and walked back to the classroom.

Kenji felt his face heat up, surprised Kimiko had kissed him. He watched her walk back to the classroom, but he cleared his throat. "You sure you don't want to hve lunch with me?" He quetioned, his words echoing down the empty hallway. He said, grinning largely. His stomach was in a knot.
