• Like We Used to • (onexone with Hikaru)

Kimiko continued to walk. Her long braids trailed behind her as she looked down. Then she suddenly tripped and fell over. Her mind was completely pre-occupied that she didn't noticed the rock. She scraped her knee badly that it's bleeding. But she picked up her stuff and continued to walk, ignoring the pain and blood on her knee.

Kenji noticed Kimiko trip and fall, but was surprised when he completely ignored the wound. After excusing himself, he jogging ahead to Kimiko. "Are you alright?" He asked out of concern, his eyes looking her knee over.

Kimiko looked at Kenji and just gazed. "I-I'm fine..." she said in a blunt, cold tone. She looked away embarrassed, still remembering what happened yesterday. Her eyes closed shut hoping that he wouldn't mention about yesterday. Then she continued to walk home fruit to avoid looking at him. Her knee began to bleed even more and it stung, but sue kept ignoring it.

Kenji crossed his arms. "You're clearly in pain. Just let me take a look at it." He said, leaning down in fron of her. He hoped she would just walk over him. Kenji stood up. "Can I walk you home?"

"Yes...." she replied as she continued to walk. It began to hurt even more, but she just clenched her fist and kept it to herself. She didn't want Kenji to be bothered with it plus he probably asked Ruki to the prom. She saw him talking to her earlier and it wouldn't be a surprise. She is pretty and quite popular. Kimiko looked away and shook her head trying to push the thought away, but it didnt work

Kenji walked beside her, his eyes glazing over her. He walked beside her, not particularly liking the idea of Kimiko in pain. Once they reached her house, he stooped. "Watch that wound." He said, leaning towards her and kissing her cheek. He turned, and skipped off, the blush beginning to rise to his face.

Kimiko nodded when he told her to take care of her wound. Then she was caught surprised when he kissed her cheek. She blushed and wanted to say something but he was gone by the time she did. Then she went inside and tended to her wound. She wrapped a bandage around her knee to keep the bleeding and then she began to her homework. She was quite loaded with a lot of them that she forgot to eat dinner. Not only did she forget lunch, but also dinner. Her head fell on her desk as she slowly fall asleep, tired.

Kenji finished his homework after hours of struggle. He fell asleep after a few minutes of laying down. He woke up for the next day, not exactly wanting to go to school. He did his morning routine, before walking to school slowly. Kenji looked around for Kimiko.

Kimiko woke up and quickly did her stuff. Then she ran out of the house and slowly walked when she saw other students. She wasn't too late but her hair was definitely a mess. She sighed and continued to walk even though she looked like a mess.

Kenji spotted Kimiko and held back a laugh. "You look...horrible." He said, brushing her hair with his hand as he met her in the hallway. "Had a rough night?" He asked with a smile, leaning against the wall so he wouldn't be disturbed by passin students.
