Character:
Name: Onyx
Nickname (if they have one): Nyx, Nick
Age: 16
Gender: Male
Picture/description: Nyx's skin is naturally an olive shade, but it has been bleached by years inhabiting caves. This makes him look rather pasty and more than a little bit ill. He has a straight, severe nose, a mouth that usually lies in a serious line, but has the makings of a smile playing along it. His hair is black, as befits his name, and his eyes are an intense, unyielding muddy brown. He is thin, unmuscled, tall and awkward-looking, with big hands and feet, narrow shoulders and a build more suited to hiding than running.
Personality(optional): Onyx does not act as his appearance would suggest. He is not shy, withdrawn or particularly mysterious. In fact, he is chatty, funny and full of life and vigour. He likes to tease, play tricks and loves nothing more than the company of other people. Just goes to show you that looks can be deceiving, huh? He enjoys the dark, precious stones and anything to do with his beloved element.
Tribe(element basically): Earth
History(Optional): Onyx was born into a rather extreme tribe of earth-benders. Superstitious and untrusting, they hid in dark caves, trying to keep their earth-bending powers kindled while the fire nation eradicated every trace of their power. They were a serious, plain, wary sort of folk, who didn't like adventure and despised the idea of venturing out into the light. Not so Onyx. As soon as he could talk, he was asking questions about eveything. As soon as he could walk, he went looking for adventure. His tribe tried to discipline him, instil in him the strict morals they took to their core. It was no use. He wasn't like them. He showed no particular affinity for earth-bending (at least, not where anyone could see it) and so the tribe had no real reason to protect him. And, on the eve of his sixteenth birthday, he'd had enough of it. He stole away in the night and wandered off in search of something more than prayer and bland incuriosity.
Other (Any helpful info, extra things, pets, ect): Not really.
