Anakin saw the girl in the tree and grinned at her he wanted so badly to turn wolf, but someone was there . . . so no. He sat under another tree and stared at the beautiful sunset of the horizon. Then he ran into the shadows and turned wolf. He clambered easily into his own tree, and curled up with his head between his paws. Then he sighed. He had no family of home, so he lived in this tree. After dusk, he crawled INSIDE, which was his house. He was a solitary boy.

Anakin smiles at her, turning human again. He sit with one leg propped up under his chin and the other stretched out flat. Anakin starts to sing along with her, though, and eventually he's singing his own song.

Anakin yelps, jumps out of the tree and catches her so fast, he's a blur. Panting he sets her down, his eyes wild. Then he turned wolf and darted back up the tree, turning human at the top.
