"The Emperor was not clear with his plans concerning the princess," Vader explained. "You however, I did not expect to see you. I assumed you were dead."

Vader kept his eyes on Padme the woman he loved, he believed her to be dead. Yet she was alive and well he had not killed her a strange mix of feelings overwhelmed him and the dark lord could no longer control his emotions. He pulled her into a close embrace and whispered into her ear,"You don't know how much I've missed you."

(I know, so uncharacteristic for Vader.)

Padme pushed herself out of his embrace, "Who do you think you are!?" She did not know who was truly behind that mask, the man she thought long dead. Instead she believed this man to be yet another sith lord monster. She shrank away and put her arms around Leia instead, her eyes were wide with fear. What could the emperor want with her anyway.

"I don't know what you think you're doing...or why you miss me so much" She muttered the last part to herself. Why did Vader miss her, she was pretty sure they had never met in person before.

"You... you don't remember," Vader responded. He no longer had any choice. Vader removed his helmet, deep and ominous breaths weakening to thin wispy ones as he revealed his horribly scarred face. He allowed her to look upon his visage for some time and donned his helmet once again.

"I am not surprised you would not recognize me," The Sith explained, "After the confrontation with my previous master I was reduced to the condition you see now. Anakin Skywalker is not dead."

[Tarn]

((He should put that helmet on or he'll die tee hee))

"Ani..." She could only whisper as she shielded Leia's eyes from his horribly scarred face. So many questions, how could this happen, why didn't anyone tell her? Obi-wan lied to her!? Why had they hidden their children then if Anakin was still alive. Wait...Remember what happened when the two of you last met? You were heavily pregnant and he chocked you and left you for dead, some husband. But wasn't he just confused...why didn't he even look for her then?

"Liar!" She screamed as tears ran down her eyes. She didn't want to believe it, she couldn't believe it! She had wished for him to somehow return to her and now that her husband was here she wished he would leave. She turned away and wasn't sure she could look at him anymore.

Darth Vader, Placed his helmet back on and continued,"You know this is true, you must accept this." The Sith was interrupted by a passing Stormtrooper, "Sir, Tatooine is nearly insight."

"Good," he said, "You are dismissed." Vader left Padme and Leia as he shut the cell door with out a word and retired to his meditation chamber, as he had a lot on his mind.

Padme wasn't sure what to do after this revelation. Where was he taking them? Did he know of Leia's true relation to her? Was this man truly Anakin? Yes he surely must be, as scarred up as his face was she could place his golden locks on his head along with two blue eyes to replace his reptilian sith ones and he would certainly be scared.

"Mommy...I'm scared" Leia said with a whimper from next to her.

"Mommy!" Padme said astonished. Leia meerly nodded, "I overheard you talking with Papa about it, you are my mother!"
Padme simply put a hand on Leia's head and nodded, it seemed things were getting more complicated by the second.

A Moff appeared at the door of Vader's meditation chamber, causing him to slip out of his trance like state as his helmet clamped down on his head and chair swiveled around to see the Moff. "Our forces are ready to invade, Tatooine," he announced, 'Do you wish to accompany them?"

"No," was Vaders brief answer. He had far too much on his mind already to be bothered with the invasion of Tatooine. Even his sense of a familiar presence on the planet would not bring him there.

"Very well them" The Moff replied leaving. The strike force assembled itself and left the bleak Star Destroyer towards the barren wastelands of Tatooine.
