Evelyn bit her lip, determined not to give in. She handed Jake a napkin without looking at him, she didnt need to feel sad while she was eating.

"Of course I am." Kyle said with a smirk as he watched the two of them.

The waiter came over and took their orders. She retuned in 15 minutes with the order. Jake stared at his food, not really wanting to eat.

Kaila bit into her undercooked steak. "Mm, that's good!" she said, trying to lighten the mood, but the attempt was vain

Evelyn began to eat, always jabbing the fork alittle to hard into her food to try and calm down.

Kyle smiled and began to slowly eat his own food. "Mabye its best not to talk for awhile." he said with a amused smile.

"Yeah" Kaila muttered. "they don't seem to be in a good mood" she said, hoping Jake was okay. Maybe she could warn him...

Jake poked his chicken, then took a tentive bite, lost in thought about his past life. He hadn't told Evelyn that his parents weren't his own. His real parents had been killed by the gang.

Evelyn sighed and waited for the night to be over, just over. She didnt want to stay here any longer.

"Told you." Kyle laughed. "Mabye then we can get them to be our boyfriend and girlfriend." he wispered to her.

"I do like Jake. He's feisty" Kaila said happily. "then there will be no time for them to interact"

Jake got up. "I'm leaving. I don't feel so good" he said with a weak smile

Evelyn frowned at Jake and stood up from her chair, "I can at least walk you to my car, I dont think that you should go alone while you're sick." she offered.

Kyle just nodded and watched the scene.

"Okay" Jake said, walking out. "why your car?" he asked. He wondered if he was gonna barf.

Kaila frowned. "they might apologize"

"Oops, I meant your car. Should we take you to a bathroom or to the car?" Evelyn asked, she looked back over to Kaila and Kyle. She decided that after Jake was taken care of that she would ditch them.

"Mabye." Kyle said. "But we can always break them apart again."
